Me and Aviva have been hanging out all day when we realized it was already almost six and we haven't eaten lunch or dinner yet. "I'll make us some food and you can play a video game or put whatever you want on the TV" I said as I went into the kitchen and started rummaging through the cabinets looking for something to cook. Aviva started playing Minecraft on the ps4.

"Fuck thissss" I groaned as I walked out of the kitchen and sat next to her, "can we just get McDonald's or something, I literally have nothing to make."

"Yeah let's go."

We went to a diner and got some breakfast for dinner. Aviva got waffles with strawberries and whipped cream and fruit salad. I got [ur fav breakfast] and we had fun messing around at the diner.

I think the workers were getting tired of our bs because they always looked angy at us. We put our leftovers in the to go boxes and went back into my car.

"I wanna show you something. I have no one else to show it to plus it's my favourite place to visit." She nodded as she sipped her iced tea and we turned on the radio and our favourite song came on. We sang the lyrics all the way to the place.

She looked at me with a confused expression as I turned down a back road

"Y/n you're gonna get us killed back here-"

"Trust me Aviva I know what I'm doing" she rolled her eyes and turned up the radio louder. I pulled into a 7/11 and told her to go nuts.

We got out and went into the 7/11 buying a bunch of junk. Like pop corn, cotton candy, twizzlers, pop, and debby cakes. I paid for all of it and it was almost 50 god damn dollars. But I didn't mind, Aviva looked excited and that's all that matters because I was having fun too. We got back into the car.

We finally pulled up to a little booth and Aviva looked like she was half asleep. I paid the entry fee and grabbed a note card with a list of movies playing tonight.

"Aviva!" I half shouted as I hit her arm. "Ow! What!" She asked as she looked at me then stared out the window, "What is this place?"

"Illegal drive-in theatre," I said with an innocent smile. She looked a little panicked until I showed her the note card.

I pointed to the names of the movies, "Look. It's 80's night. First, the Outsiders, next Karate Kid, Breakfast Clud, then Heathers. Isn't this fun!"

"It's illegal!" She wined.

"It's still fun though" I shrugged as I pulled into a spot and parked.

"You're right" she muttered.

The Outsiders began playing and I glanced around seeing there were only like two cars parked, then one familiar car pulled up. I don't know how I recognized it so quickly, but it was Damiars car like I had saw at work that one time.

I could even see Damiar through the window, wearing big round reflective shades. I laughed at how funny he looked from where I saw him but quit when I realized Kai in the seat next to him.

It didn't necessarily bother me, I just wish it was him and I. I wanted to spend every second with Kai and that is just not normal for me.

"Yeah who likes Kai anyway" Aviva joked after I told her everything. I laughed.

"Come on y/n, let's not worry about boys. We're together tonight, ok? Don't worry" she said which calmed me down and I kind of forgot about him.

Except no I didn't because I kept hearing his loud ass balloon boy laugh every five minutes. "oh my god" I groaned. "He's so annoying! Just focus on Dally's beauty instead of Kai's, k?"

"I thought we weren't worrying about boys at all though."

"Fictional boys don't count" she said with a shrug. I smiled. Aviva always knew how to cheer me up.

"I can't do thissss" I said after we heard another one of Kai's laughing fits. Aviva crawled over my lap and opened my door.

"Oi shut the fuck up!" She yelled which caught Kai and Damiar's attention. They eyed us before realizing who we were.

"Y/n!" Kai yelled excitedly.

"Nooooo"I wined quietly.

"I'll get rid of them." I looked at her and before I knew it, she grabbed my chin and pulled me into a kiss.

It wasn't a big kiss, it lasted for a few seconds and she smiled playfully afterwards. But it still shocked me because the only kisses we ever shared were always either friendly forehead or cheek kisses! "Aviva?! What the hell?"

"He's shut up hasn't he?" I glanced at him to see him just staring at the movie, Damiar's arm over his shoulder.

Maybe he likes Damiar? Could be a wild suggestion but I mean. It's possible.

"He'll be fine, he knows we're just friends anyway. He's just shook right now, so that means my plan worked! Let's finish this movie and go home, yeah?"

"Yeah." I nodded and turned back to the movie. We cuddled as we watched the movie.

Not gonna lie it was sort of romantic, but I wish it was Kai.

Why am I like this? "Kai this, Kai that, wish this was Kai, wish that was Kai". I'm so done, I hate crushes.
