dear diary,
This past week,,, I spent the whole week at my grandparents. five days. It was supposed to be two, but then it kept getting pushed back and back because my mum got a lil sick (not corona, we're good. but jokes about "it's corona!" were uhmhmhm present). She's fine. But I ate tuna melt everyday. I can't even look at a tuna melt again. I did survive tho, lol.
Today was great. My parents woke me up way too early for a weekend. ten am! and yes, I know, for some psychopaths, that's "late" but for me, a teenager who went to sleep at 5 am, it was early, don't bully me. but other than that, we're vibing at one hundred over here. we cleaned our boat, and I hung out with my dad, and I ripped a gate off the deck and we burned it. My snap isn't dry, but I hope that isn't due to corona.
I have a long weekend for Victoria day!! so sick. and another on Tuesday, because fuck it, right? less school is clearly better.
IN WORLD NEWS:
honestly the same. trump is saying shit to stay relevant, there's a shortage of everything and everything is closed! things ARE slowly opening up, however, the curve is flattening, and we think everything's gonna be okay. I think this pandemic will last much less than previous pandemics, due to our aggressively advancing medical knowledge. we used to bloodlet, now we have vaccines!
if everyday of quarantine was like this; happy, vibing, social, glowing; it would be all good. like summer. But it's not, unfortunately. and that's the way the pandemic cookie crumbles!
sincerely,
Grindy

Fun fact: I am double jointed! I can link my hands together and keep them together and bring them from my back to my front. I used to think everyone could do it, and wondered why cops bothered arresting people with hands behind their back if they could just bring them to the front.

wash your hands, stay safe, and STAY HOME.
