I woke up to the sound of the big doors opening
I jumped out of bed an pulled my jumpsuit on before walking out into the hallway,everyone else doing the same

I looked to Quinton who looked to me with a confused look
"Come on kiddies,we've got work to do."Boss or shall I say my 'dad' smiled coming out from the back of the van
I looked to Payton who had a small grin on his face whilst watching the boss
"Well?come on!"Boss yelled before we all started coming out from our rooms

After we all got our masks and where in the van we where heading to the slums of Cali where I used to live

"Don't give her a gun,she doesn't love me like a daughter should yet"Boss said stopping Bryce from giving me the gun.
"I'll never love you."I growled at him before pulling the mask over my face and looking away

After 20 minutes the van slammed to a stop and the back doors opened slowly
Everyone got out one by one
As I went to get out Payton grabbed me by the hand and pulled me back
"Please don't do anything stupid"he said lifting his mask
"I don't want to"I sighed lifting mine also
He sighed before giving me one last kiss,
"I love you."He whispered in my ear before he pulled his mask down and leaped out the back of the van following the others.
I took a deep breath before following him.

"Come out papá!"Boss yelled at the front of the shack that I used to call home.
"Berlin,my friend."Someone laughed coming out from the front door
I watched as my dad came into view,he looked to me and smiled
"Darling Iv missed you,your safe now"he smiled looking to me.I didn't smile but I wanted to,even if he was my father or not he brung me up and took care of me and kept me safe.
"You stole her from me Palermo."Boss yelled at him getting angry.
"She's had a much better life with me anyway."He grinned looking back to me
"I'd kill you if you didn't have the ring."Boss snapped at him.
"I don't have it."He smirked before I felt a hand cuff my mouth and something sharp sit on my neck.
I was pulled back slowly and still none noticed me.i was pulled down the side of the shack before I kicked back,making them let go of me.
I turned round to see milo looking back at me
"Milo?"I scoffed,all different emotions overwhelming me
"Iv miss you"He smiled as a tear rolled down his cheek
I smiled and hugged him
"I missed you too."I whispered in his ear as I kissed his cheek
"Come on there's no time we've got to get you out of here"He said taking my hand
"What?no."I laughed pulling my hand back
"What do you mean no?"Milo laughed going to grab my arm before I pulled it away
"Join us milo,it's so much better."I smiled,I was so excited

"Harper?"Payton called out from the front of the shack
"Get in the car Harper"Milo said opening the door
"No Milo I don't want to."I said looking to Payton who turned the corner
"get her in the car milo!"My dad yelled from the front of the house before guns started firing
"Get in the car!"Milo yelled as Payton started running towards me
"No."I snapped before trying to get away,he grabbed me by the arm and yanked me back
"Harper DONT get in the car"Payton yelled running towards me,the others not to far behind him.
Milo grabbed me by the back of the neck and pulled out his gun.
"What are you-"I said watching as the gun was lifted in the air and pointed at Payton.
My heart sank as the sound of 3 gunshots deafened me sending a high pitched ringing to my ear.
I watched as bullets hit Payton one by one in the chest before he slowly fell to the floor.
"No!"I screamed at the top of my lungs as I was thrown in the back of the car.My heart sank and I watched in shock.
I watched out the window as the others fell to their knees besides his limb body,I pounded on the window,I was screaming but nothing was coming out I watched as we slowly disappeared behind the shack,I watched as my friends,my family broke apart as Payton lay there.i watched as Avani cupped her mouth and broke down in tears,looking away and Anthony sprinting from the van,jaden and Bryce tried they're hardest to do something,anything.
I felt like I was a kid..getting pulled away from my family.I felt alone again.
