I looked to jaden as we heard Payton shout out for Harper.
"Don't just stand there go after her."Boss growled at us.
"Now we have"Palermo smirked as we sprinted after Payton
"Get her in the car milo!"Palermo yelled before disappearing back inside
We ran round the corner and seen Payton sprinting towards Harper,he was so close. I watched as milo lifted the gun
"Payton!stand down!let her go!"I screamed,he carried on,dropping his stuff so he could move faster
"Payton Sto-"Jaden screamed before 3 gunshots made the whole world pause.
I watched as my bestfriend,brother,took the impact of each one of them bullets.
"NO"Bryce screamed racing towards Payton as he slowly fell to the floor
"No!go after Harper!"Boss yelled running after us
My heart sank further with each shot as I watched him fall.I raced towards him and fell down next to him.
"Payton"I sobbed falling down next to him,I ripped his mask of and he looked to me a tear sliding down the side of his face
"Please don't leave me please please"I sobbed,cradling his head
"Payton stay with us brother."Bryce panicked,taking paytons bullet proof vest off of him.
"What the fuck?"Boss said rushing to us
"He's still alive,he got hit by two bullets one in the kidney and I don't know where the other is"Jaden said,applying pressure on one of the wounds
"Your going to be okay,you hear me?"I whispered,hugging him tightly
"Avani we need to give him an oxygen mask let go of him."Bryce said trying to push me away
"No..no.."I sobbed,keeping hold of him
"Avani it's okay."Payton struggled,looking to me.
"No it's not,it's not you've been shot."I said looking down at him
"Avani if we don't give him this he's going to die."Jaden snapped at me
I sobbed and pulled myself away from him,I stood up and didn't know what to do with myself,I held my hands to my mouth to stop myself from crying out.
I saw Anthony running to us with a med kit and I looked to him and his face dropped.
I looked back to Payton and they started pounding on his chest.
"Fuck."Boss yelled slamming his mask to the ground.
I turned to Anthony and he hugged me,tighter than ever.
"Why did you stop?!We almost had him."Boss yelled at us.
"I don't give a fuck!Hes our bestfriend,family he's always saved us from situations that you where never there do to like you promised!"I screamed at him.
"Avani,calm down"Anthony said pulling me closer to him
"I can't-I can't loose him."I hiccuped as Quinton came rushing with a table that had wheels on.
"1...2...3"Bryce said,performing CPR.
"He's gone."Bryce panted.
"No keep going we've nearly got him"Jaden said before Bryce started doing CPR again.

"We've got a pulse...keep going."Jaden said looking at the defibrillator machine.
"1...2...3"Bryce repeated under his breath
"There ,get him on the table"Quinton Said as they all began to lift him.
"Is he alive?"I hiccuped ,walking over to jaden
He looked to me and looked down
"Barely."Bryce said,pushing the table towards the van.

We all got in the van and sat around Payton.
"Once we get back we are doing EVERYTHING to get Harper back,I'm not having that motherfucker take my daughter again.Okay?"Boss spat at us as we all sat in silence
"Okay?"He repeated,louder
"Yes boss."Anthony muttered
"You did give her the tracker right?"Boss snapped at Anthony
"Yes he did,we will find her and I'm going to rip that dickface to pieces and I mean pieces.Im not not finding her,she meant something to us all not just you."I snapped at him
He looked to me and his face softened
"I believe you."He said,putting his hand on my shoulder.
I took a deep breath and looked back to Payton.
"I'm finding her for you."I whispered,leaning closer to him.
He looked to me and a tear slid down the side of his face.
