Eruption ~ Bakugo Katsuki (BNHA x Fairy Tail)

The Journey Begins

The sun shined bright as Katsuki and Melody walked to the agency. He wanted to let Endeavor know he was taking a trip and needed a couple days off just in case of delays and such. They both walk in and Melody was instantly greeted by Moe. "Welcome back Melody! And with Bakugo none the less. You guys getting closer huh? You gonna be dating soon?" Katsuki walked away as soon as he saw Moe so he wasn't there to hear her ramble on. It was embarrassing enough that she was already coupling them up, which would never happen. Katsuki snickered to himself as he saw Melody's face grow annoyed over Moe. He realized she was more like him than they thought.

Melody quickly denied Moe's words. "I wouldn't say that. We just have somewhat similar goals. And I would never pursue him. I'm not looking for a relationship." Shoto shows up next to Moe and gives Melody a smile. He must of over heard the conversation. "You guys would probably kill each other with your high strung personalities." Melody laughs at the comment. That would actually make sense. "Yeah you're right. We would both fight for the pants in the relationship, but sadly Katsuki would just lose that fight real fast." Moe and Shoto's eyes shoot behind her like they seen a ghost. She gives them an confused look. Melody turns around and jumps. "Fuck! How long have you been standing there?"

"Long enough for you to assume that you would be in charge." Moe's mouth opens up like she was about to argue but Melody shook her head no at her. Moe shrugs and throws her arm around Shoto. "I'm sure Shoto here would love to ask Melody out on a date, I mean he's been talking about her constantly!" Shoto pushes Moe off of him and runs his hand throw his hair, his face turning red. "Back off Moe. She doesn't want a relationship." Melody giggles, watching how flustered he was now. It was adorable. She looked up at Katsuki who just stared at Shoto, his left eye twitched it little. Katsuki was agitated. He didn't like the idea of Shoto going on a date with Melody. Even though he had no say about it, he wanted to do his best to keep her far from Shoto. Before he could say something to retaliate, Melody speaks up. "I'd love to hangout with you when we get back Shoto." Shoto's face flushed a whole new shade of red and all he could do was nod. Moe clapped her hands excitedly.

Katsuki looked over at Melody, who had a plain expression on her face. He couldn't believe she accepted hanging with Shoto. Did she like him? Katsuki grew angry over this. He knew he couldn't just tell her not to. He didn't want to admit he was jealous that Shoto would get a chance, knowing she would tell him no if he ever asked her. He thought for a moment, knowing that he was going on a trip with her and not Shoto. His lips curled up into a grin and he took pride in that victory. "Endeavor was pissed about me wanting more days off but he agreed since it was for a good cause. Melody and I are taking a trip together so don't annoy me with calls and texts."

Melody stares up at Katsuki and pinches his arm. He jerks at the pinch and glares back at her. She could tell he was angry over her with Shoto. She didn't care, knowing he had no control over what she did. She felt attracted to Shoto also, maybe not the same way as Katsuki, but she knew Katsuki would never ask her out after seeing how she was. "Melody! Before you go, give me your number." Moe pulls out her cell phone and hands it over to her. "Does everyone here have some sort of number that identified them or something?" Melody thought.

"My number? How do I find out what mine is?" Moe scratches her head, confused. "Ummm your cell phone?"

"What's a cell phone?"

Shoto and Katsuki joined in on the confusion, Katsuki looking a little less confused since she was already weird in his eyes, but in a cute way. Shoto pulls his cell phone and shows Melody. "It's a device that lets you keep in touch with people, even when your far away. You can call and text and even play games. It's something everyone has."

"Oh." Melody stops herself from telling them that she never had one of those before, but by their faces, it was quite obvious to them. She didn't even know if Fiore had these things or not. She never had a need to have one. Katsuki looks over at her. "I have an old one you can have. I'll set it up for you when we get home." Melody nods and smiles at Moe and Shoto. "I'll get your numbers from Katsuki if he has them." Moe squeals with excitement. "Oh he does! Even though he rarely answers back. It's nice to keep in touch with coworkers just in case." Katsuki shakes his head and nudges me.
