I messed up

"Is my hair perfect..why doesn't they look bouncy!!"

"Do i apply more lipstick?"

"Am i looking fat? What if he doesn't like it?"

I turned side to side, looking myself in the mirror trying to find any flaw which can ruin the night.

"HONEY! JUGHEAD'S HERE!" my mom yelled from downstairs.

"Oh shit!" I said and went down stairs, basically running. When i step down the last one, i saw him talking with my mother. He looked AMAZING. He wasn't wearing the beanie today and his hairs were looking great. He was wearing a black two piece suit and God! How can be someone so Hot!?

He looked at my side and a gave a big smile. So did my mother, she looked at me in awe.

"Okay Betty you can do did!"

I walked towards them, swaying my hips a little but not that much. I was about to reach him when i lost my left leg balance and fell in his arms.

"Fuck!"

"You alright Betts?" He asked worriedly.

"Great way to start the night Betty! Proud of you!"

I quickly stood up straight and put a strand of my hair behind the ear.

"Y-yeah im fine" I said and smiled a little. He took my hands and lifted my chin to make me look in his eyes. "By the way, you look beautiful" He said. I blushed and looked down. My mother was no longer standing with us. He put his hands in my waist and pulled me closer to him.

"Are we about to have our first kiss?"

"Wait..wait a sec?"
"Is that..a sneeze?"

I was having a irritation in my nose but also in a middle of a moment. No it can't be sneeze during it. And here it comes in 3..2..

"Jug..Jug aren't we getting late?" I said trying to get out of the moment.

He looked disappointed and scratched his back neck.

"Yeah sure" He said and walked out of the house.

"Now wheres the sneeze?"
"Where it go?"

I tried breathing faster but it was gone. Why? Why it always happen with me? I was about to have my moment which i have only dreamt of.

"BETTY COME ON" He yelled.

I walked out of my house and went to his car. The car ride was filled with comfortable silence. Slowly we approached the Riverdale High.

School Prom ladies and gentlemen and i was here with my boyfriend. It's only been 1 week of dating and we haven't kissed each other yet.

Anyways, i stepped out of the car and grabbed Jughead's hand. He smiled and we both went inside the school. The arrangements were done in gym so we both walked towards their. The music was playing and many people were dancing on the floor. I tried to find my friends in the huge crowd. I finally saw them and they were near the drinks area. I pointed my finger towards them and showed them to Jughead. He nodded and we both went there.

"Oh my god B..you look amazing!" Veronica said, while hugging me.

"So do you!" I complimented her back. He giggled and hooked her arms with Archie.

"Why dont we dance?" She suggested.

"Oh no! What if i mess up this time!"

I awkwardly smiled and looked at Jughead.

"No were are good here, right betts?" He said. He definitely know me so much, that what i love about him.

"Come on B!! Please! For me!" She said and i couldn't let her down now this time. I slowly nodded my head and she jumped a little. He grabbed mine and Jughead hand and pushed  us on the dance floor.

"Hey its gonna be fine!" He said in my ear. He took my one hand in his and use his other hand to grip my waist. The music went slow and we both were dancing slow.

"Dont freak out! Dont freak out!"

I dont why i was getting tense. I could feel eyes on us which made me more uncomfortable. I suddenly steeped on his foot and he quickly let go of my hand and took a step back.

"Im sorry..shit! What's wrong with me?" I said quickly and ran outside.

"Why i have to be so stupid!"

Few tears escaped from my eyes and i wiped them with the back of my hand. I was sitting on the steps of school entrance and quietly sobbing. I heard footsteps behind my back and a hand on my shoulder.

"You shouldn't be here." I said. I knew it was him.

"And may i know..why?" He said sitting beside me.

I sigh and wiped another tear.

"Because..im a mess. You deserve so much better than me. I always make things wrong. This dance was supposed to be nice but i messed just like our kiss." I said.

Few seconds with no response, suddenly i felt his hands on my cheek and him leaning in. His lips brush against mine and then he smashed them on me. My hands went to his neck and his went to my waist. It was slow but filled with love. I slowly pulled back with a giant smile on my face.

"See you didn't messed up!" He said and chuckled.

"JUG!" i said as i hit his chest.

He wrapped his arms around me and pulled me closer to him.

"I love you and dont consider yourself less for me because you are  only girl i need. You are the girl that i am in love with." He said and kissed me head.

"I love you too" I said and buried my face in his chest.

"Now want to go inside or home?" He asked stroking my hairs.

"Umm..Home. How about we go back home and watch a movie?" I asked.

"Sounds like a plan" He said and I giggled.
