Someone like him (part 2)

My eyes flickered open and I found myself in more comfortable place. My eyes fully opened and I was on a hospital bed. Machine were making sound beside me and the dime light was coming from window.

The door opened and it revealed the same guy from earlier.

“Hey hows you feeling now?” He asked nicely and sat on the chair besides the bed.

“I'm feeling better after for the first time after those horrible days.” I said and looked on my thighs.

“It's okay now. You are safe. By the way I'm Jughead” He said and stretch out his hand. I smiled at him and grabbed it and shook it slightly.

“Betty Cooper” I said.

He smiled. “I don't understand why they kidnapped me?” I asked him.

“Basically Goulies needed a northsider whom they can kidnap and threatened us to give them the Serpent's property. That what we call ourselves. And they choose you.” He explained.

“But you are also gang leader then why you saved me?” I asked shyly.

He chuckled. “We are not bad like them. We safe people. You can trust us Betts” He said.

For a second my heart melted when he called me with a nickname. Maybe he wasn't that bad.
