I haven't slept that night, I was too busy talking to Jared about the details of what happened to the bar and reminiscing about summer we had together. And, I was still full of energy to even sleep, as you may have know, I literary slept all day. Nocturnal, like an owl. I felt kinda stupid talking to Jared in 4 in the morning because I know he's sleepy as hell but denies it whenever I asked. We stayed up late together, watching the sunrise like we did every summer with Percy, 13 years ago. Except now there's only the two of us, and we didn't pass out as soon as the sun reached its highest position. We just stared by the window unmoved, not even blinking until Jared told me to wake him up just in time for the barbecue at John's. I think Jared and I just celebrated Percy tonight. After all, there is in need of celebrating my late brother. Exactly seven days from now is the anniversary of the accident.

I went to my bed hugging Vader, this dog has grown a lot since Garrett gave her to me. She sleeps with me when Garrett sleep in their house, and she sleeps in her bed when Garrett is around. Honestly, she's one smart dog. I am so proud of her. The time reached 7 am and I started to feel sleepy again, I set my alarm to 12 pm, an hour before the festivities to catch some Z's thinking that it'll be a long day.

Jared woke me before my alarm clock did. I feed Vader, and put out some extra food in case she got hungry while we're out before showering. My eyes still close as I feel the hot water hit my skin. Taking a bath while your eyes close is as easy as I never thought it would, applying shampoo and lazily scrubbed my skin with soap twice, just to be sure that I don't smell. I managed to open my eyes when I dried myself. Blow drying my hair and yawning again. I am not really sleepy-tired, I am just sleepy-lazy, there's a difference you know. After forever I went out with a towel wrapped around my body, pass by Jared playing the guitar at the living room to get to my room and be decent. I wore a black shirt that I cut out the sleeves and neck part on and a light jeans, wearing a pair of flipflops. Applying no make up at all, I just stared at my skin, pale as it was before, nothing really changed, my eyes were still green, last time I checked. As soon as I am satisfied that I don't look like a zombie, I went out to sit with Jared while he's playing some of their music.

"No getting drunk today, we have a sweet 16 tomorrow, and THEN the being drunk part" he said, I chuckled, as I watched him play the guitar smoothly, he's been a better player that I am, I know that for sure. When the clock reached 12:40 Jared decided that we should go.

Pat hugged me first when he saw me, saying that he missed me and asked me when was the last time we saw each other, when I told him it was the other night, he stuttered and blushed and changed the topic. Kenendy hugging me next, and then John. Garrett tackled me of the ground that caused a shriek from my mouth and giggles when he put me down. "Miss you wanna kiss you" he mumbled before kissing me, I was aware of our surroundings now and pulled out as soon as I heard Jared cleared his throat, which is by the way 5 seconds into the kiss.

"How are mah boys?" I said as I helped Pat and Kennedy grilled our food.

"Well, fi-fi-first o-of, I've missed you! Garrett's be-been too se-selfish to s-"

"Don't talk while cooking Pat" Garrett interrupting him, earning a glare from me. Pat on the other hand shrugged.

"I'm okay, how are you? Getting some better sleep?" Kennedy asked as he flipped the patty.

"Better than before actually" I replied, watching them work carefully.

"Well that's good. I was re-really worried when you were at the hospital and all" Pat said, I smiled at her and half hug him, thanking him for caring, then I did the same to Kennedy before joining the others while they discuss their show for tomorrow, Garrett's hands found mine as he brainstormed with the others. I found out that the birthday girl didn't know anything about them playing and somehow they have to sneak at the party without being seen. I chuckled as I imagine John trying to hide himself in a party full of high school kids.
