You knocked on the door to Jin's house, waiting for someone to open it as you heard the chaotic mess that was inside. You could hear Jin shouting at the others to open the door as you heard the start of Lion King play in the background. You weren't even late to the hangout, but of course, they always decided to crash Jin's house early. Granted, you would do that with every other member except Jin since you were scared to be alone with him. Despite his kindness and energetic nature, you would feel awkward and tense due to the small crush you had, if you could even call it a small one. You realized you liked him about two months ago and it's been a downwards spiral from there; your once small feelings of puppy love turning into a full-blown crush on one of your childhood friends.

"Sorry," Namjoon sighed as he opened the door, slightly glaring at the men behind him.

"It's fine Joonie," you laughed as you walked inside Jin's normally well-kept apartment, "After this many years of friendship, I've gotten used to it. Why were you guys even fighting in the first place?"

"Jungkook didn't want to open the door and miss a second of the movie," Yoongi rolled his eyes.

"Jimin-hyung was the closest anyways," Jungkook scoffed.

"I was adjusting the volume for us!"

The two soon began lighthearted arguing as the rest of you just sighed, letting the two of them do what they want. For Jungkook not wanting to miss a part of the movie, he clearly didn't mind taking his eyes off the screen to play fight with Jimin. You felt bad for Taehyung who was seated in between the two of them, struggling to lean back on the couch to avoid their hits. As for the other seats, both Yoongi and Hobi were seated in their own separate beanbags while Jin was seated on his loveseat. There was still a beanbag available so you walked towards it, not wanting to become a blushing mess near Jin, but Namjoon quickly sat down and smirked at you. Sometimes you regretted telling him about how you felt for Jin.

"Jin I'm hungry," Jungkook threw a pillow at the eldest male.

"Yah! Respect your elders," Jin caught the pillow and threw it back, effectively hitting the maknae in the face.

"Hyung you invited us to eat and it's been hours with no food," Taehyung whined.

The rest if you hummed in agreement, fairly hungry since it's been hours since you've arrived. Jin just sighed and nodded, knowing he would age ten years before getting your minds off of food.

"I'm not cooking this alone," Jin stood up, removing the blanket that was dropped over the two of you.

All of you instantly looked away from him, trying to act casual. Cooking with Jin was fun, at least until it wasn't. He took making dinner seriously and the slightest insult to his cooking would irritate him. Plus, you all wanted to be lazy and just continue watching the movie. Jin, however, wouldn't accept that and grabbed your wrist, pulling you into the kitchen.

"Why me," you groaned, ignoring the smirk Namjoon gave you.

"You won't destroy my kitchen," was all he said as he walked down the hall and entered the kitchen.

While you and Jin started talking about what to make, the boys in Jin's living room were smiling at each other. They all knew of Jin's feelings for you and planned to make you two confess, Namjoon also telling the boys of your feelings for Jin. Immediately after Jin confessed he liked you, Namjoon made a group chat without his Hyung or you and planned how to help the two of you get together. Since childhood, they all knew it was bound to happen and knew you two were the perfect matches for each other, which is why they planned on leaving.

"So," Hoseok spoke up, barely able to contain his excitement, "Who's leaving first? Or are we all leaving at the same time?"

"Stop! Jinnie," you laughed as Jin flicked a wet noodle at you, completely missing and hitting his cabinet instead.

"Look what you did," Jin laughed, "The noodle is stuck on the cabinet now."

"I didn't tell you to throw it at me," you couldn't stop laughing as Jin tried to clean his cabinet.

Both of you decided to make carbonara and were currently boiling the noodles, well Jin was. He really didn't need any help but you stayed in the kitchen anyway, sitting on the small island he had. Both of you didn't even notice the lack of boys asking if the food was ready or the sounds of their playful laughter, too busy being caught up in your own world. The two of you playfully fought each other the entire time, subtly flirting to each other. However, you were oblivious to Jin's flirts and instead took them as friendlier banter. Jin only managed to catch on when he saw you blushing at his attempts, causing him to gain more courage.

"Y/n," he soon called out, "Go get the boys please."

You nodded and hopped off the island as he went to take some of the water out of the pot, a blush on his face. Jin was almost positive that you liked him back and he decided to use the next time the two of you were alone to confess to you.

"Jinnie, they're gone," you came back into the kitchen, "None of their stuff is here and the tv is off."

Maybe he wouldn't confess the next time you two were alone.

Jin kept glancing at you as the two of you ate the carbonara, an awkward silence filling the air. Despite your texts to the boys, none of them responded, or at least to you. In the private group chat they all had with each other, the boys telling Jin to use this chance to confess. Of course, they didn't directly out you about your crush but they did hint at it which was enough for Jin to figure out, especially with what happened earlier. Despite this, he was still shy about it.

"Do I have something on my face," you asked, setting down your fork.

"No," Jin quickly looked away, "Just thinking."

"Is it about why they all left? Cause I'm confused too," you sighed as you leaned your elbow on the table, resting your chin on your open palm.

"They know I have a crush on you," Jin finally got the courage to speak up.

"You do?"

Jin just nervously laughed as he nodded, "I was wondering if you liked me too? So we can go out?"

You looked down at your food as a blush became present on your face, unable to contain your goofy grin. on your face. Jin, however, just sat looking at you, waiting for a response. The fear of you saying no was crushing him and it didn't help that you weren't looking at him. There was something about you that unraveled the confidence he has, which was a lot, and made him feel like a shy kid again. In his eyes, you were someone who could do a lot better than him.

"Is that a yes," Jin chuckled, although you could hear the shakiness in his voice

"Oh," you blush became larger as you realized you didn't respond, "I'd love to be your girlfriend."

"Of course it's a yes," Jin cockily blew a kiss towards you, "It's a privilege to be dating Mr. Worldiwde Handsome."

"I take that back."

"Wait- no."
