Seven hickeys were counted, all too far up on Remus' neck to be hidden. He reluctantly finished getting dressed and walked down to the Great Hall for breakfast. As he walked in he could hear people whispering, no one knew he was in a relationship except for Sirius, James, and Peter. As he sat down in his usual spot next to Sirius and across from Peter, he heard James say, "Merlin Sirius! You really went crazy didn't you?!"
"Well I call it a masterpiece! Now everyone will know you're taken," Sirius said, obviously very proud of himself.
"Well Sirius you knew I had to walk the first years around the school today, with a teacher might I add, and you placed them high enough so that I couldn't cover them, on purpose," Remus said, playing with his food.
"Oh come on Remus, you know you love me," Sirius said, grabbing his hand.
"Yeah you're right, I guess I do," Remus said, looking up into Sirius' eyes.
"You see! I told you!" Sirius exclaimed, kissing Remus on the cheek.
Let's just say Remus' day was fairly normal, apart from the stares and the whispers. But at least he had his friends by his side. The next day he pushed the thought of the hickeys out of his mind and just enjoyed his day.
Remus' pov
Trust me when I say, I will get payback, eventually. I just need the right idea because Sirius does not get embarrassed easily. Maybe I could ask Lily to help me, or James. I'll think of something...
