I was already drifting between sleep and being conscious when the car jumped. I was startled but the sudden adrenaline had spurred me wide awake. I was up late last night, rewatching BTS' last concert. I didn't get enough sleep.

"Oof... I may not have seen the bump, Honey." Said Dad apologetically. "But we're here anyway."

I confirmed it with my own eyes as we stopped at the front gate. The building was huge. It was like our apartment but bigger. It was already 7:25 but so the gate was already crowded by students who had just arrived from their commute.

"MORALES HIGH SCHOOL DIVISION!" The sign read followed by a banner saying "WELCOME STUDENTS NEW AND OLD. LET US HAVE A WONDERFUL YEAR TOGETHER!" in a welcoming font. Despite the warm welcomes, I didn't want to leave the car.

A week after the end of the last semester, I was lying in my room. I was watching live "BTS Abs and Wardrobe Malfunctions" on my phone, internally screaming as my babies express their weirdness and their bodies to a peasant like me.

Jungkook's precious smile as he is embarrassed to show his abs. Jimin having so many "accidents" followed by my screams of joy. The interaction between Jimin and Jungkook as they embarrass each other by showing off their... um... packs. And even just the intro is my baby V's six-pack. I could just die right then and there and I would be happy.

Suddenly, Mom enters the room and calls me to the kitchen. Either I was being scold for being too loud or they wanted to talk to me about something. I was correct for both.

The first conversation went from Mom scolding me for being loud to me explaining why BTS is so amazing. After a heated debate of why BTS wasn't just a gang of boys that look no different from each other, we proceeded the actual reason they called me here.

The second conversation went something like this:

"Jemma, I know this going to sound strange but please bear with me." Dad began.

I gulped.

"We've decided to transfer you to another school."

I was quiet for a bit. I let that sink into me... not really.

I immediately replied, "What! That's so sudden."

"I know it's sudden, but something happened at work that lead to the company no longer sponsoring children above high school."

"B-but that doesn't make any sense. Didn't we move here so that you can work without worrying about where to live and where I go to school?"

"That was the plan but for some reason they changed it. My salary won't change, we can still stay in this building, and your siblings can still go to school for free but only you can't go."

I could tell that talking about this, Dad was clearly angry. The slight change of tone his voice as the conversations continued meant he didn't like this as well.

"Can't we just pay tuition then?" I thought.

Mom replied, "Tuition is half the cost of the rent if this apartment wasn't sponsored. Your dad won't be able to handle the costs for tuition."

"What about other parents then? Won't they be affected?"

"Yes, everyone was complaining but the boss said that he can no longer support high school students. Apparently, there was some sort of disagreement between the boss and the school."

"I don't want to move. I was already starting to like this school."

That was a half lie. I don't like the school I go to. One moment I'm there smiling and being myself around everyone, laughing my hats off. The next moment, I turn my back and I realize they hate me. Sure, there were those who were my friends but to fit in with everyone they had to target me too.
