"Oh brother..." Josh sighed, "Is it necessary that we do this right now?"

Ignoring Josh's remark, Cloud continued to strip until he was shirtless. "So, who wants to go first?"

"Cloud," Dale groaned as he attempted to form words, "Can we... just... not? It's too early."

"And too cold!" Jemma added, "It's freezing here."

I couldn't agree more. The winter season had just started but I can already see the fog every time I breathe. Usually, the season reaches peak cold two months after the start of the season but for the past years, the peak cold has been arriving earlier each year.

Damn global warming. If I had the Elder Wand, I would probably master weather magic and change the seasons as I see fit. Weather is an almost unpredictable phenomenon that only those with the knowledge, skills, and technology can explain.

Now, as to why Cloud called us here, in the middle of the baseball field, so early in the morning, while he is shirtless in the middle of winter – which, in itself, is an unexplainable phenomenon – one can already guess by taking into account his action-craved body and battle-crazed mind, the only conclusion anyone can arrive at is-

"Let's spar!" He exclaimed so cheerfully, ignoring our repeated complaints.

"Cloud, we should not be doing this." Josh rebutted.

"I wanna see how good you guys have become." He explained, bouncing like a dog waiting for his owner to throw the stick.

"Unlike you, we do not go around picking fights in the middle of streets."

"Pfftsh..." Cloud scoffed. Josh tried to convince him but once he asks for a fight, he will force you to fight.

"Come on, don't be such wusses!" Teased Nina as she cartwheeled in, "Don't you go telling me that you haven't been training at all. Aside from Kyle, I can see y'all have grown some muscle."

It may be true but it still stings to be called out like that. I'd try to fight but I'm just scared of getting hurt and to hurt other people. I've already done that once and I don't want to do it again.

"Nina, I'd rather not hit girls," Dale groaned. "Or anyone, for that matter."

"Well excuse me!" Nina retorted in disgust.

Cloud continued to flex his muscles in an attempt to provoke either Josh or Dale. It would be impossible for a fifteen-year-old to have a body built like his but there's a reason we call him the kid who's "just good at everything." That's just the kind of person he is. Once he puts his mind into something, Cloud will do everything to accomplish it even if it takes him forever.

He loves competition. As a result, everyone who can't handle his nature avoid him when he asks for a challenge. Even if they do accept his provocations, they eventually run away because of his nonstop streak of wins. If he does lose, he will win again the second-time and the third – and only until the third.

We are the only ones willing to put up with his nature – especially Josh and Dale. They are the only ones that have ever made Cloud lose more than three times. Videogames. Sports. Fighting. It's always between those three.

But they do have their specialties. Cloud is good at everything sports and anything that requires movement. Josh, the perfectionist that he is, is good at meticulousness and anything that requires precision. Dale is... well...
