In my old school, if a Noble were to dislike you, for any reason at all, everyone will want nothing to do with you. Bump into one of them. Look at them funny. Do anything to get on their nerves, no matter how petty. Once word gets out that you are on a Noble's bad side, you are immediately ostracized from the rest of society. Here, it's the opposite.

"Man, the way you tackled that Noble and pinned him to the ground..." Aisha exaggerates as she reacted everything with her mouth-made sound effects. "That was some Lara Croft stunts."

"I prefer to be compared to Black Widow." I corrected.

"That takes guts, my girl." Commented Shia, "Not many people can just stand up to Nobles."

"Yeah, that really scared me, ya kmeow!" Candy gives a concerned meow. "It was like that once scene from 'AoA - Like A Cat' music video."

"Oh that true!" Aisha agrees.

Apparently, anyone who stands up to Nobles is a celebrity in Morales. As soon recess started, I was overwhelm by the showers of praise coming from my classmates. Like Aisha, lots of people compared me to Tomb Raider for some reason. I was really imitating Black Widow. I'm not used to being surrounded by people. Good thing I'm not the only one who's popular.

"That Josh guy though?" Shia points at him sitting a few chairs ahead of us.

"Oh gurl!" Aisha gushes, "He looks so cool. The way he just grabs the guy's arm, like all gentlemanly, and then goes like 'You shouldn't point guns at girls' or something. That was just... eeekk!!"

"Like a scene out of some high school K-drama."

"But Jemma," Candy interrupts, "Don't guys know each other?"

I turn towards her. Now that I get a closer look, she really does look like a cat. Big, green eyes staring at me with curious intentions. Her head slightly titled to the right, expecting an answer. She looks completely adorable that I was caught off guard.

"U-um w-what do you mean?" I stuttered.

"Well you know," She purrs or at least what seems like a purr, "After you tackled that Noble, he and that other girl called you by name. Right?"

"That was strangely observant." Shia comments then turns to me, "So you know him?"

"Yeah," I reluctantly reply, "We used to go to church together and we even came from the same school before transferring to Morales."

"Even with that other girl?"

"Kyle Moonrey was her name, I think?" Candy adds – or meows I guess.

"Yeah, well, we used to." I say that almost regretfully. "Stuff happened. And I guess we just went our separate ways."

"I see." Shia nods. "Then there's no time like the present. You guys can go and catch up. And when that comes around, you can introduce your friends to us."

"Yeah, right!" Aisha cackles. "Don't be fooled Jemma. Shia has a thing for boys like him."

"What makes you think that!?"
