"Dale?" Jemma was practically frozen at the sight of the boy in front of her.
"Long time no see, Jemma." He replied softly.
Without the mask and hood, as well as the cold, nonchalant expression, Dale looks like every normal, good-looking teenager. Curly, brown hair and an adorable face. The scrawny boy wore a nervous smile that showed his genuine joy of seeing an old friend.
"So it was favoritism after all." Interrupted the ever so insensitive Irio, who had not yet given up on getting what he wants.
"Gimme a sec..." Said Dale to Jemma.
"That's just unfair." Roi frowned. "You're just playing favorites."
Like it was habit, Dale returned to his original, nonchalant tone. "Roi, there are rules to my position as Principal's Son so you don't have to worry about that."
"Is that so? Then, why-?"
"I'm gonna have to stop you there, Irio because you two have to leave the campus." Said Dale.
"I-I beg your pardon?"
Dale expression did not change. He patiently explained to the Nobles that he was serious. Compared to that, Irio's confusion transformed into rage. He and Roi have been expelled and are no longer students of Morales. They are to leave the campus now or be considered as intruders and forced to leave by security.
"You dare-!"
"Yes, I dare. So would you please just go?"
Irio was perplexed. Nothing like this had happened before. He had always been able to sue anyone that would go against him. Everyone feared the power of his father's money. That is how he had been able to get a perfect record in his entire middle school while having Roi cling to him.
For the first time, he has met someone who does not fear his father's money. Someone who had nothing to back him up. Someone who challenged the power of Nobles.
"You cannot be serious." Irio growled, "Do you have any idea how many connections I had to go through just to get into this school?"
But Dale simply replied, "Yes I do."
"Yeah and- Wait! You do?"
Dale then proceeded to explain how Irio's father went to the school to bribe the Principal. It was a few days ago when that happened. He had to force the Noble to leave the school because he was too stubborn.
"He was getting annoying so I had to kick him."
"Wha-?"
Irio's was stupefied. He looks like he had just witnessed a murder and the reality had not set in yet. Dale remained unfazed this entire time but the spectators were dazzled at the poor Noble's priceless expression.
"Do you not know what I can do?" Exclaimed Irio, "My father can-!"
"Yeah, yeah," Said Dale dismissively, "I know everything about Derio Haarman. I just really don't care."
"Hey, Irio why is guy not listening?" Roi was agitated. He had been relying on Irio all this time to live a comfortable school life. Even Nobles, despite their richness, can be leeches. Now he is witnessing his getaway fail right in front of him so his reaction is reasonable for a Noble.
"I don't give a damn about your money." Dale slowly approached Irio. His steps echoed throughout the room in intimidating reproach. If there is anything that a Noble fears, it is someone who is better than them.
"I've looked into your records and you have it clean but that is because those schools fear your father's money. But this is Morales.
"I don't care who you are or who your father is. You will be treated here like every other student. The students have to follow the rules and if the rules say you are expelled, then you are expelled."
