Chapter 1

Naruto gasped and shut up from where she was laying. Her heart started beating fast, panic stirring inside her chest when her eyes didn't recognize the room she was in.

She was sure that it was a Hospitals but nothing was left during the 4th War, and most likely she was the only one alive after the end.

'W-where the hell am I?'

"Kit!"

Naru screamed and ultimately punched the figure who hopped in her lap.

BOOM!

Some do not know, but Naruto had been Tsunade's student for a few months. While her skill in healing is abysmal, her strength isn't. Which is why, she was not surprised that she has the super strength Tsunade had.

The poor guy that she punched was sent sailing out of her lap and slammed on the wall, creating a dent.

She blinked, clearing the blurriness and finally saw the one she punched. Naruto stared at the groaning red fox, a familiar red fox, and instead of being a thousand story high up and inside her mindscape, it was the size of a small dog.

"Kurama?"

"No it's the Yondaime Hokage."

Naruto stared blankly at the annoyed fox who healed quickly from the punch and grooming himself from the debris. "Of course it's me! Do you saw any red foxes around here?!"

'Yep, he's Kurama alright. Who else would have a temper syndrome but him?'

Kurama lived inside Naruto's mindscape his whole life that most of her thoughts got projected to him. Which was why a tick mark appeared on top of his head, "I don't have a temper syndrome! Plus, their isn't even any syndrome like that!"

Naruto rose an eyebrow, "Oh? Then what's Intermittent Explosive Disorder for you?"

Kurama blinked and stared at the blonde woman as if she grew two heads, and opened his mouth, "Since when did you know that?"

Naruto glared at the fox, "Of course I have to know that since the Teme....... has that...."

Naruto's anger evaporated when she finally remembered everything. The War, the death toll, Everything.

Kurama noticed the sudden change of mood when Naruto's bright eyes dimmed. He shifted for a little bit and hopped back on Naruto's lap, and licked Naruto's face who was now ultimately sobbing as everything took a toll on her.

"Kit...... "

Naruto hugged the Red fox and buried her head at the red fur.

Old sharp eyes watched the two figures from the ball, smoke coming out of the smoke pipe on his mouth.

"So he's telling the truth then."

Naruto's sob started to subside and what was left was red puffy eyes. She looked at Kurama and shook her head, "Sorry about that Kurama."

"Whatever."

The two were left in silence, basking the moment of being together. Though, when Naruto turned her attention to the window, her eyes widened when she was met by a mountain with carved heads. She knew what that Mountain is, but she thought it was destroyed by the aftermath of the War, but what made it more shocking is that instead of five heads, it only has three.

"K-Kurama....... "

The Red Fox opened one of his eyes and looked at the shocked expression of his partner, he glanced to where she was looking and understood it all.
