katiana was supposed to be back from her mission is 2 hours and everyone had noting to do until tony got a phone call
tony looked at the phone to see a request to ft from fury
"guys its fury" he answered the phone
"whats the mission" tony asked
"there is no mission its about katiana" fury said steve hopped over the couch and grabbed the phone
"whats wrong with her" steve asked
"captain calm down" fury said way to calmly
"NO TELL ME WHAT IS WORNG WITH MY GIRLFRIEND" steve shouted
"she got stabbed really bad she passed out from the pain and is now in the medical ward at the tower she is stable but they fear she might die from this im sorry" fury said now showing pain and anger in his voice
"WHAT THE FUCK AGHH" steve got up and smashed his bottle of beer on the floor that shattered into pieces fury had already ended the call

they all rushed down to her room to pay their respects its like they knew she was going to go
natasha was crying her eyes out, steve was a mess, tony and pepper and the rest of the avengers were all silently crying although clint was trying to stay strong for natasha until steve spoke up
"you cant go its not your time to baby, wake up please, now youre gonna wake up and survive this after that you are going to come with me were gonna get married and have kids and they are gonna run around the house and torment all their aunts and uncles and we are gonna do what we planned to do about adopting wanda because that is what you wanted, my darling I cant move on I just cant none of us can if you please don't just do this for me do it for wanda your sister and all the other avengers, wake up so you can see pepper go down the isle and watch all the avengers grow old, please promise me give me a little squeeze that's all im asking here I love you my darling" he sat there for a few seconds staring at her hoping for a signal but nothing came through all the avengers had their heads down. all of them worried for their friend but also teammate after all they all loved her yes in different ways but all the same she was loved and that's what made her touch his shoulder
"baby don't cry im okay" she said just below a whisper
"omg your okay" he said pulling her in to press kisses all over her face she laughed with him she may have been out of it but she still heard what he had said
"you wanna marry me" she asked with tears in her eyes
"of course I do babe there is no one else I would rather marry"
"good" she said with a smirk before going in for another kiss
wanda was still in shock from what steve had said
"you guys wanna adopt me" she said a single tear trickling down her cheek
"of course I love you like you are my own and no kid deserves to have lost the amount of things you have lost we were going to tell you on your birthday in two days but I guess its out now would this be okay" katiana said
"of course I love you guys, thank you for seeing the real me" she said now crying she walked over to the side of katianas bed and gave her a large hug and did the same to steve.

that night katiana had to spend in the hospital she told steve to go to there room and get some rest and everyone left and katiana started to drift of, a little later she was woken up to wanda at her side.
"whats wrong" she asked her
"i had a nightmare I hurt you all and you guys killed me and left my body to Ultron and Pietro was there and.....and" she said in between sobs
"hey..hey its okay no one is hurting anyone come here" katiana moved the best she could to make room for the 16 year old
"you know I was going to say something to you when you were in the coma but steve beat me to it" she said with her thick sokovian accent coming through when she spoke
"and what was that" katiana asked genuinely curious
"Pietro always said life goes by before your eyes but not before you live it, I knew it wasn't your time to go and I was right" she said smiling
wanda cuddled into katianas side and they fell asleep together soon to be as mother and daughter
