ch.23 life after

life had been great after the defeat of thanos wanda, bucky, steve, kat, ev and brooke were happy living together in a cabin only a short walk away from tony, pep and morgan. kat was pregnant with her and steves 3rd child another girl who is to be named violet anne rogers.  obviously kat and steve were finally married. after finding out about their 3rd child on the way they both decided it was time to step down from being superheros as it was dangerous for the kids and for kat with her condition so that was it.

"mom ev stole youre makeup again" brooklyn shouted from the bathroom after walking in on her twin sister using the products 

"everlyn maria rogers put it away and come do your homework like your sister has done" kat shouted from the couch where she sat marking some of the homework brooke had done

"okay im coming" ev shouted stepping out the bathroom but not before her older sister dragged her to their mother

"heres your missing child mom" wanda said bringing her towards kat

"thanks baby do you need any help with your exams or are you good" kat asked

"the only thing im not sure of is the 1940s topic i have going on but thats fine cause dad knows loads and he promised to help when he gets home from shopping" wanda replied giving her mother a kiss on the cheek before heading back to go and carry on revising for her test

"honey im home" steve shouted as he opened the door shutting it behind him before heading to the kitchen to unpack all the bags and put everything away katiana came over and steve put away the bread before giving her a kiss on the lips and one pressed to her swollen stomach 

"you feeling okay" steve asked wrapping his arms around her from behind 

"yeah just getting a little light headed sometimes" she replied

"did you make sure to sit down and have a break" he asked

"ye i did me and wanda sat down and chatted for a bit a girly talk about a boy and i also marked brookes work she was good today she is still as smart as tony but ev on the other hand has been a handfull brooke caught her with my make up again so wanda had to help me out" kat replied turning around to face him

"ill talk to ev i promised wanda i would help her with work and who is this boy because if its not buck i dont know who it is" steve replied

"ye it is im suprised you noticed their flirting considering you cant flirt or use pick up lines at all" katiana said smirking at him

"hey i can too listen to this, are you french? because eiffel for u" steve said 

"that was terrible and im russian you should know that" kat said coming out of his grip and walking into the front room making sure to sway her hips as she left

"damn" steve said

"hey dad if your not to busy staring at moms ass i could use some help with my exam revision" wanda said smirking with kats signiture smirk that wanda had picked up on over the years 

"ye sure coming sweetie" steve said going with wanda to go help.

*1 year later*

"im coming baby girl im coming" kat said rushing around the house violet had been born seven months ago along with natasha and clints new daughter who they named indigo the girls had been born on the same day which was odd but they accepted it everlyn did not like the baby as it took all of kats time but not attention everlyn would constantly get in trouble for upsetting the baby a lot. brooklyn was an angel with the baby considering she was now ten years old she was very mature for her age especially with looking after violet.

"hey baby i...." kat walked in to brooklyn sat with violet in her arms in the rocking chair singing softly to her, brooklyn sang just like her mother does.

"hey mom she was crying and you were busy so i thought i would help i told ev to go back to her room as she was looking extremely guilty ill talk to her mom im sorry shes so jelous im trying to help her but she doesnt want it" brooklyn said quietly

"its okay darling its not your fault ev behaves like she does" katiana said siting down on the stool next to her daughter stroking her hair then pressing a kiss to her cheek brooklyn returning it .

steve was stood in the doorway watching this unfold he was upset with ev and the way she was acting he was sure something was going on.
