Less than 2 months after the girls returned from their honeymoon, Anni-Frid's grandmother Agny died. It hit Anni-Frid really hard, as she was the closest blood relative to her. She lay in Agnetha's arms, her head in her lap, who tried her best to comfort her.

"Now I'm all alone." She sobbed.

"Oh honey, you're not. You still have me, your aunts, my side loves you, and most importantly God." Said Agnetha. "You're not alone, we're all here for you."

"Thanks baby. You always know just what to say." Said Anni-Frid. Agny's death hit Agnetha too. She knew her since she was a baby, and to her, Agny would always be a sweet old lady who'd spoil the girls. When the girls were young and Agnetha came over, Agny would give them a plate of Pepparkakor biscuits, with white icing, and a glass of cool water, knowing exactly how much ice to put in.

The girls faces were both wet with tears at the funeral. They both missed her dearly. Because the girls' mothers were friends, Agnetha also knew Agny since she was a baby, and became like a 3rd grandmother to her. So Agnetha missed her terribly too.

"At least she lived to see us get married." Said Anni-Frid. In response, Agnetha nodded, smiling sympathetically and reached out to gently stroke Anni-Frid's hair behind her ears.

The girls, clad in the traditional black, sat in the church with tear-stained faces. Soon it was time for Anni-Frid to read her eulogy. Agnetha went up with her to support her.

"My grandmother did more than just raise me. She loved and cared for me so deeply, always making sure I had everything I needed. While she was sometimes strict, as was necessary, she was always a soft, caring grandmama bear who I could always talk to, always go to for a cuddle. She'd cuddle me whenever I needed or wanted it, no exceptions. She would also spoil me with treats and toys, especially on my birthday Christmas. It was she who encouraged me to sing, she encouraged me to pursue my dreams, and another thing I'm grateful for is that she accepted me for who I was, and how she treated my wife Agnetha like her own granddaughter. And Agnetha loved her too."

Agnetha cried while her wife read her grandmother's eulogy. Lili also attended the funeral. Afterwards, she hugged Anni-Frid, also crying and said,

"I am so sorry. She was a good woman."

"She was. We'll miss her very much." Said Anni-Frid tearfully. Anni-Frid's grief drained her energy, so Lili drove the girls home. Anni-Frid lay on the couch with a blanket wrapped around her. Agnetha made her a cup of tea to warm her up, and comfort her. She lay in Agnetha's arms as they both cried, grieving a woman who loved and spoiled the girls with treats whenever Agnetha came over.

"I'll always be glad she saw our wedding." Said Agnetha, tearfully.

"Oh yes. That was the last highlight of her life." Said Anni-Frid.

Although Agny's death hit the family hard, they got strong and moved forward. Music was therapeutic for the girls, and the knew that Agny would've wanted them to move on and be happy.
