Chapter 16 - Movie Stars!

The girls attended the opening night of their movie in Stockholm. It was simply called "ABBA The Movie". They thought they were just being filmed at their concerts in Australia, but didn't know that their "bodyguard" and the reporter allegedly chasing them for an interview were actors.

"We had no idea!" Said Agnetha when asked about it. "We though he was really stalking us!"

The beautiful wives dressed in gorgeous faux fur coats, making sure to look their best for the opening night.

They were extremely satisfied with the movie, especially the dreamy "Eagle" sequence. They were too tired to go to the after party, so they went home and made love.

"I'm so happy to be famous with you by my side, Anni." Said Agnetha, looking into Anni-Frid's gorgeous emerald eyes.

"My sentiments exactly. I wouldn't have it any other way." Said Anni-Frid, and the two fell asleep in each other's arms.

1978 soon came, and the girls were at the height of their fame. Their album, simply called "The Album" was still going strong, and they were still filming promotions for it.

The girls got a little experimental that year, and decided to record their hot new song "Summer Night City". It was a #1 in Sweden, albiet their last.

"I must say, I got pretty hot after singing that song." Said Anni-Frid.

"Me too." Flirted Agnetha. "Are you thinking what I'm thinking?"

"I believe so..." Said Anni-Frid with a wink.

The ladies drew a bath with bath salts the colors of the Swedish flag, the scent of ocean and citrus, turning the bath water into a beautiful, light shade of lush green.

"Ahhhh..." The ladies vocalized as they entered the jacuzzi with their crystal flutes of champagne. "This is BLISS!"

"We're pretty much set for life aren't we?" Said Agnetha. "The royalties of our songs so far, both solo and together, we never have to work another day in our lives!"

"Very true. But I still have a lot of creative in me I want to express." Said Anni-Frid.

"Me too." Said Agnetha. "I have lots of ideas, still. I was even thinking of a charity song."

"Do tell." Said Anni-Frid.

"Well, the song would be about a little girl who is unhappy, and we try to encourage her." Said Agnetha.

"Not bad!" Said Anni-Frid. "I had a similar idea. I thought to use a famous quote for one of our song titles, also something inspiring."

"I'm loving it!" Said Agnetha. "Oh brainstorming makes me so excited!"

"Me too!" Said Anni-Frid. "When I get a new idea, I always get a rush of excitement!"

"I know, right?" Agreed Agnetha. "To us!"

"To us." Said Anni-Frid, and the girls clanked their flutes. "Cheers!" They said.

They soaked in the bath a little while until finishing their champagne, before getting out and going to bed to make love.

"Oh Anni." Said Agnetha. "Your gorgeous, silky, deep red hair with your luscious red lips. Those alone make you so irresistible."

"And you..." Anni-Frid started. "You're still so innocent. But I love it. You're not tacky, or tarty. You're a sweet, beautiful, sexy woman. And those idiots can talk about your bottom all they want, but I'm the only one allowed to touch it."

Agnetha giggled as Anni-Frid grabbed her derriere. Agnetha caressed her wife's luscious breasts before wrapping her feminine arms around Anni-Frid's supple waist.

The ladies traveled across Europe to perform their latest hits, as well as some of their songs from previous albums that became instant classics like "Dancing Queen".

They were also starting to work on their next album, but it wouldn't be released until the following year.

While they enjoyed recording their songs, they didn't always like having to translate their feelings into songs that many would assume were for heterosexual couples. In particular, the song "One Man One Woman".

This was a beautiful song, a perfect make-up song, but the girls were 2 women, and although their love was accepted by most people, they knew that the radio stations would not accept "lesbian" love songs. They filmed the video for the song, but afterwards they agreed to never perform that song again.

They didn't regret making the song, but they thought it better to leave it alone, they didn't want to sing something that felt unnatural to them. That's why most of their songs were in second person. That way, it was more ambiguous. Singing in second person meant one could sing about anybody they wanted.
