This can't be happening

John's POV

Sophie saw Briana and left I tried to catch up to her but she was already gone I told Briana to leave and Paulette got home and started yelling at me "what the hell is wrong with you Sophie called me crying" I sighed "you know what Paulette she broke up with me, but why did she come back? Paulette looked up at him and explained everything "Her mom made her do that" I was shocked and didn't know what to do, but then I realized "Paulette I have to go see her let's go"

Sophie's POV

I got home and can't believe this is happening John moved on with another girl I went to lay on my bed but I can't stop crying all I can do is cry my heart is broken into a million pieces.

I got hungry and went down to the kitchen to get some ice cream because it's the only thing I felt like eating I grab a cup and start walking back to my room when I hear the doorbell I go towards the door and I hear someone say "Sophie open up" and I realized who was behind that door its John but I don't know if I want to open that door then I hear Paulette say "Sophie I know you're there open the door so this idiot can explain himself" John suddenly says "hey" I laugh and they hear me "come on Sophie" says Paulette I finally decide to open the door

John went straight for a hug but I pushed him away and said "just say what you wanna say" Paulette decided to stay downstairs and John and I went up to me room and sat on my bed to talk while I kept eating my ice cream just listening trying not stare at his beautiful eyes

Johns POV

I sit on her bed and see she's pretty upset she won't look me in the eye she's just looking at the cup of ice cream in her hands I just say " look I was upset and meet her at a bar we had a few drinks and hooked up she's just been a distraction from the pain of being away from you and she knows we aren't anything I love you and think about you and our baby every night I can't live without you guys its killing me not being able to hold you while you sleep"

Sophie's POV

I put the cup on the night stand and told him "I only left to keep your safe I know Paulette told you about my mom blackmailing me to send you to jail but I love you too" while we talked my six month belly started moving and I put Johns had for him to feel and he finally felt the baby moving it was a beautiful moment we looked at each others eyes and the baby kicking brought us such joy to feel that we went down stairs and I said "my parents won't be back until Monday night and today is Friday so we can stay at the house till then and then we will figure a way out of this"

We spend the weekend planning ways to name my mom drop the blackmail or just get something on her to leave us alone. I love my parents but this has gone too far. I was laying on the couch when John said "Sophie I have an idea we should check your dads office I bet we will find something for your parents to leave me and you alone for good" we kept searching until we found a file it was dirty deals my father had made and from the looks of it all illegal we knew this was the smoking gun we needed for me to be able to go back home with John

John pulled out his phone and said "I have to take pictures of this its perfect to use against your parents" all of the sudden I hear the front door open and the familiar sound of my parents walking so I told John "they're home you have to go" he took all the pictures he needed and slipped out the back door when my parents came to say hello I was on the couch laying down like if I wasn't up to anything I didn't just wanna confront them right there I need to play this right for my baby and fiance if he will still take me...
