"Oh, my beloved daughter is finally home!!" I said as I rushed to give her a tight hug. "I miss you soooooo much. Your old man is dying while waiting for you."

"You're so dramatic," she said as she chuckled. "How would you survive when I'm in the states?"

"Well you should get ready to prepare a funeral for me," I said, causing her to smack my arm and make me let out a loud 'ouch'.

"So," I continued, "how was the camp?"

"Good," she said. "I got all As and a pretty solid application right here."

"Oof Harvard should watch out," I said as I poured some tea, "'cause a brainy beast from Seoul is coming."

She chuckled, then drank the tea I gave her. "So how was Namgyu?" I asked, causing her to choke on her tea.

"Yah," she said while wiping the tea that's spilled on her face, "why are you bringing that up?"

"Well you didn't give me any update after the whole 'I'm in the same group as him!!' debacle."

"Because there isn't anything to update!"

"Liar," I said. "There's no way that things didn't happen between you two during the camp."

"Ugh, fine," she said. "We did get closer and since his room was next to mine, we hung out often at least during break time. But that's it, nothing happened beyond that."

"Your room was next to his," I asked, "and nothing happened beyond hanging out?!"

She threw her tea at me and it was spilled all over my clothes. "We are not going to talk about Namgyu again, do you understand?!"

I bursted into laughter seeing her get all panicked like that. "Why are you so flustered?" I asked, which was only returned by a death glare from her. "Okay, okay. Sorry."

She pouted, but I smiled then reached her hand. "Hey, have I told you that I miss you so much?"

"Yes," she said, "probably a thousand times already."

I chuckled. "You probably don't need to know this but as a father, it's such a relief to me to know that your room was beside your crush's and nothing happened beyond a friendly hang out."

"Dad!!"

"You should call him," I said. "Ask him out on a date or something."

She was quiet for a while before she entered her room and came back with a purse. "Come on."

"Come on what?"

"I'd much rather going out with you," she said. "Let's go. We have a movie to catch."

I smiled, then I grabbed my jacket and went out with my daughter.

"Wow, that lamb chop is amazing!" Yiseo exclaimed as she wiped her mouth with the handkerchief.

"I know right? Jimin told me about this place a few days ago and I hadn't had the time to try it yet."

"Why didn't you take Aiko here?"

I chuckled. "She's a busy lady. She flies back and forth from Seoul to Tokyo almost every 2 weeks."

"How are you handling it?"

"We're not into anything serious yet so there's nothing to handle."

"Anyway, dad," she said, "speaking of Tokyo, I forgot I haven't told you about this."
