Yiseo

"I can't believe it's the first week after the summer break and I'm already exhausted," Jaemin said, frustratingly.

"I know and soon we're  gonna have to work on our college application," Soyeon said. "Speaking  of that, Yiseo, have you done your college essay? I mean, I know it's  only been a week since we're back in school, but I won't be surprised if  you've done it."

I chuckled. "No I haven't. I've just been brainstorming and writing down ideas."

"Ugh, I haven't even been brainstorming," she said. "I don't know what I should write!"

"Just do a lot of research, Soyeon," I said. "Trust me, that helps like a lot."

"So, it's Friday now," Jaewoo said, obviously changing the subject, "should we go somewhere?"

"Sorry, guys," I said, "I've already made plans with Namgyu."

Both Jaemin and Soyeon dropped their jaws when they heard what I had just said. "You? Going on a date with him?!"

"This is a new era, everyone! Yiseo's finally going out with a guy!"

I smacked their arms. "Yah! Don't be embarrassing."

"OMG, where are you two going?"

I shrugged. "Not sure. He didn't tell me where he planned on taking me."

Both of them made a  playful smirk and let out an 'oooooh', which made the whole class look  at them weirdly. Coincidently, Namgyu came to my class when we were  still talking about the planned date.

"Hey, are you ready to go?" he said, causing Jaemin and Soyeon shrieked.

"This is so fun. I'm so happy Yiseo's finally going out with someone other than us and her dad."

"I know, right?! This is adorable. You guys are adorable!"

I rolled my eyes playfully and went out with Namgyu. It turned out that he was taking me  to an amusement park. I used to go here often when I was little.

"Wow, it's been so long!" I said as my eyes wandered along everyone who ran back and forth joyfully inside the park.

"I just thought you could need some break from the whole college application stuff," he said, "so I brought you here."

We bought our tickets and went inside the park. I shrieked happily when I saw the mascot allow people to take pictures with him.

Hours had passed and we were exhausted from riding all those roller coasters, yet also exhilarated!

"Did you have fun?" he asked while we were having dinner at one of the restaurants near the park.

"So much fun!" I exclaimed. "Thank you for today, Namgyu."

"Of course," he said. However, after a while he seemed to be uneasy as his body suddenly  looked tensed. "Hey, Yiseo, can I be honest with you?"

"Yeah, sure. What's wrong?"

"I lied," he said. "I actually don't have any plans to study abroad."

"What?" I said as I was  surprised to hear his confession. "Why did you say you want to go to  Harvard? I mean, you're smart, so why not?"

"I'm not that smart, unlike you who maintain to be in 1st place in academics every year," he said.

"So why did you sign up for the camp?"

"Well," he said, "I did it because of you."

"What do you mean?"

"When I first met you at  the cinema, I found you quite interesting. I asked your friends about  you, then I got a bit intimidated when I found out you were going to Harvard, that's why I didn't reply your message," he said. "But when I  found out that you signed up for the camp, I instantly signed up for it  too, figuring that maybe I could get closer to you there."

"But why would you do that?"

"Because, Kim Yiseo," he said, "I like you."

Taehyung

"Hey, Jimin," I said when I opened the door and found my best friend standing in front of it, "what's up?"

He seemed to be bothered by something. I let him come inside and gave him a cup of coffee.

"Is something wrong? You seem uneasy."

"You don't know what happened?"

I raised an eyebrow. "What happened?"

He looked around. "Is Yiseo here?"

"No, why?"

He took a deep breath before he asked, "Are you still in contact with Kaori?"

As soon I heard him say that name, my body became tensed. "No. We haven't been in contact for more than 15 years. Why?"

"Are you..." he said with a slower and quieter tone, "... aware that she has a child?"

"Well, no, but it's not like it's any of my business."

He hesitated for a while. "Her kid is 26 years old," he said. "Does it ring any bell?"

I gulped. "I mean, sure that was when we slept together, but that doesn't necessarily mean something."

"I asked Hyemin about this and she said that Kaori hasn't been dating anyone since that night."

"She could be lying."

"Taehyung, don't you understand?!" he said with a sudden raised voice. "That kid is yours!"
