Spending time with my mom

"Percy! Wait!" My mom said as I was knee high in water. She splashed threw the water and was by my side.

" What's wrong?" I asked.

" I just wanna come with you.' She said fixing her hair and shivering. I put some of my powers around her so she can be warm like the water isn't touching her. ' So we can talk." She finished obviously finding out that I helped her. She smiled. My mom never really gets mad at me because she knows I'm different. We walked deeper and deeper until the water was touching out chins.

" It's okay. You can breathe." I told her noticing that she was tensing up.

" How?" She asked still frightened of going under and trying to breathe.

" I'll make an air bubble for you."She nodded and we went under. She looked at me for the all clear and I nodded. She breathed under water for the first time.

" Wow Percy!" She looking under and walking all around.

"Yeah I know." The water was full of seaweed and beautiful sand. We saw a school of fish swim pass. Hey it's the son of Poseidon. Hey Percy! The fish said. " Hi." I said waving at them as they swam away.

" Where you just talking to a fish?" My mom asked confused.

" Yea. I'm able to do that." I replied. I saw something move in the distance, a dark shadow.

" Is that a shark?" My mom said backing away.

" Maybe. Just hold on a sec. Hey buddy get over here now!" I ordered. The figure came out and it was a great white. Hey man I was just going to say hi, but I got nervous. He finished.

" Hi. Which way to the underwater palace of Poseidon?" I questioned.

Here let me take you and this mortal there. He replied. I took my moms hand led her on the back of the shark hanging on to the dorsal fin, while I use the powers to move the currents to where the shark is heading.

A while later I saw my dad and Tyson talking about something. When we swam up Poseidon looked confused that my mom was here. " Hi Sally." He said shaking her hand. She smiled and I think blushed.

" Brother!" Tyson yelled giving me a hug. He was squeezing so hard I almost choked.

When he put down me down I said " Hey what's up?"

" I've been having bad dreams. About you and Luke." He said looking at our dad who is having a conversation with my mom. When he finally noticed me and Tyson staring at them they stopped.

" Percy. Have you come to live with your father?" He said running his hand threw my hair and squeezing my shoulders. Man what's with my family and squeezing...

" No. I just needed the sea to calm me down and relax me." I said trying not to think of the whole incident with Jack.

" That's my boy. The sea is always a calming place. The sea also does not like to be restrained." He finished looking at my mom. I wonder what they were talking about.

" Yea... Umm dad can I talk to you in private please?" I asked.

He nodded and left Tyson with my mom. " What's wrong?" He asked concerned but also with a concrete look on his face.

" I've been having these bad dreams and I think they will come true." I explained them as much as I could.

" I see." He rubbed the bottom of his chin. He then said that I should just be more careful... Whatever that meant.

We walked back over to my mom and Tyson. He grabbed something out of his pocket and slipped it into my hand. When I looked at it I didn't know what it was. It's gold and silver circle almost like a coin. Waves were engraved in it.

" That is for strength. And for you to know I'm always watching if I'm not fighting with Zeus or Hades." Just then a blast of lighting hit the water and electrocuted all of us except for my mom.

" Ohh hush up!" Poseidon yelled waving his trident in water.

" Wow. You guys fight?" She questioned.

" Of course. He blames me for everything the old coock loses. He blames me for not killing father right away, and for other reasons." He finished. Then again a stronger bolt of electricity zipped through the water.

" Zeus! Stop it! You know it's true!" He said getting a bit angry.

" Ohh." Is all my poor mother could say.

" I should get going. He's getting angry, and making me angry." He finished. Then just like that he was gone. We said goodbye to Tyson and headed home from another shark I summoned.
