Awkward dinner

I could feel the warm water running down my body. The water seemed to calm me pretty good. I grabbed my axe peace shampoo and squirted it into my hand. I rubbed it into my hair and rinsed it off. I got tried off and put on my clothes. A white shirt, black boxers by Fruit of the loom, grey basketball shorts and black socks. I did my hair and put on some cologne. I combed my hair to make it look nice. I kept thinking about my dream about dreams. I opened the door to smell spaghetti and Texas toast.

" Hey, honey." My mom said drinking a glass of her water. I sat down awkwardly hoping no one brought up my screaming. I hope I didn't sound like a girl...

" Sally can you please pass me the Parmesan?" Grover asked.

" Well of course." My mom said giving it to him. He took it from her hands and and put some on his spaghetti. I didn't feel like eating so I pushed my plate towards Paul who was taking a grab at Texas toast.

" Aren't are you hungry?" My mom asked getting back up and heading towards the kitchen.

"No." I said quickly. Annabeth and were obviously hungry because they eating.

" Percy what happened on Friday? At school?" Paul asked. I immediately got embarrassed because I would have to tell my parents about the fight I got in with Jack. The big bully of the school.

" What do you mean?" I asked hoping that this wasn't the topic he would bring up.

" What happened in the locker rooms." He said yet shoving another spoonful of the tamato soup. My mom had a wierd look on her face and sat back down drinking some more.

" It wasn't me it was Jack." I said looking at Paul.

" Percy... explain." My mom said. Surprisingly Annabeth and Grover where sitting there still very quiet.

" Well, we were in the locker room getting ready for PE and he came up to me and slammed my locker when I was trying to grab my shirt. I told him to go away and make out with his girlfriend pillow." I said hoping that would cut it. But I should've known because the next thing that came out of Paul's mouth was...

" And..."

" And, then he pinned me against my locker so I pushed him back and he fell into the showers. He got up and he was angry and he punched me in the stomach. So I kickedhissoftspot."

" What?" My mom asked confused.

" I kicked his soft spot and that was it. Well not exactly." I said as Paul shot me a look to tell her the whole story. " After that he threw me on the tile and kicked me..." I didn't want to say where because Annabeth was right there.

" Then Percy pushed him into the pool that was in the other side of the gym." Paul finished for me.

" Yea." I finished.

" He's got a detention after school." Paul said putting his plate in the sink.

" At least it's not with Jack." I said relived.

" Actually, it is with Jack." Paul said sitting back down. I stared at him got up from my seat.

" Where are you going Percy?" My mom asked.

" Umm going for a swim." I said heading towards the door.

" But the waters probably freezing right now." She said.

" Mom, I'm a son of Poseidon." Those were my final words as I left. The smell of the sea filled my nostrils, and the breeze was just perfect.
