" What are you talking about Grover." I was getting nervous.

" Percy what happened to you." Paul worriedly asked.

" It's just something that happened when me and Kronos were fighting." I said like it wasn't a big deal. " Now Grover what's the big deal."

" Percy, your cursed." He said putting a hand to his head.

" Whatever." I said hoping that this was a big joke.

" Percy this is serious. Whoever gets the curse is going to... to die." He said shakily.

" LEAVE!" I heard my mom yell. I quickly grabbed a black shirt and changed into some black skinny jeans then ran out of my room, to see a drunk Gabe walking around out condo.

" Who's that?" Paul.

" That's Gabe." His face got angry when he saw me.

" You... you cost me my house." He said coming towards me. My mom got in the way.

" Do I need to hit you again. Maybe across the face this time. And trust me your make up won't be able to hide it." He finished. I could feel the anger in me rising.

" Hey!" Paul yelled. He gestured for all of us to go into my room.

When we got in my room Annabeth immediately said " You lived with that for years and he abused you guys." Now that she said it I got up from my bed and headed towards my door flung it open and saw that Gabe knocked out Paul and had hit my mother.

" Hey pig!" I yelled. He turned my way and that's when I tackled him. We fell down the stairs with a loud crash.

" Haha. Just like last time. Does your mom know?" He asked getting up and dusting himself off.

" Shut up." I said trying to shut him up. I didn't want her to know that he hit me when we used to live with him.

" You know I can still have you arsstef... arrested for taking and ruining my car." He said pulling out his phone.

I took the phone and smashed it against the wall. " You aren't gonna do anything." I said really angry. My mom and friends were at the top of the steps looking down.

" Percy are you okay?" I ignored and wiped the blood from my lip. I summoned all the water in the house and had a wall of it surrounding me. Gabe gasped.

" Let's go meet my dad." I said. The water rushed through my body and Gabe's turning us to mist. I heard my mom yell something but I couldn't exactly hear because we were already heading towards the ocean.

My dad was talking to someone. I made me and Gabe turn to human forms. Of course I was forced to help Gabe breath by making him a bubble.
