Meet Me Halfway

Chapter 9

Emma gets out of her car after she arrives at her house. She had just dropped off Regina and told her to text her. Now it's a waiting game.

Later that night, both women were up but they didn't know it.

Emma fought back the urge to text Regina because it's now up to Regina to make the next move. But also Regina is nervous about texting her. Regina thinks it's too early to text Emma.

"Do you think I should do it. Or should I wait until tomorrow like she said." Regina said talking to herself as she walked around her big house cleaning because she was nervous.

"I think I need to grow some balls and just text her!" Emma says as she picks up her phone to text Regina but her fingers don't move after she clicks on Regina's contact name.

Later that night, she heard her phone ringing. Emma picked it up.

"Hello?..."

"Ah yes Emma. I was wondering if you would like to go on a date with me tomorrow. It won't be fancy just a lunch date."

Emma stuttered.

"Um well I promised Henry that I would take him out and we would watch Harry Potter movies all night."

"...Oh"

"I'm so sorry. Wait! I'll tell him I can watch a movie with him and then later that night maybe you would want to catch a movie? I'll take Henry to his friends house!"

Emma had Henry tonight because he wanted to sleepover in Emma's new house.

"Yeah that would be great, Emma."

"Okay. I'll see you tomorrow then. Goodnight."

"Night."

Emma ended the call and thought about what she was going to wear before going to bed.

The next day emma woke and got her shower quickly only taking 10 minutes than her usual 20.

She got Henry up with the smell of bacon and then later took him to school.

Emma worked at trying to get a job around here until Henry was ready to be picked up.

She got Henry and waved to Mary Margaret while leading Henry to Granny's. Henry loved that restaurant and could eat there 24/7 if he wanted too. Henry got his usual hot coco with cinnamon and so did Emma. They talked for a while before eating and jumping into the yellow bug as they left for the house.

They watched Harry Potter until 5:00 P.M. when Emma was suppose to take Henry to his friends house.

Emma dropped him off before running home grabbing a quick bite to eat at her house and changing her outfit. She then put on her skin tight jeans she loves so much with her brownish-red lace up boots. She then put on a white tank top and her favorite red leather jacket.

She ran downstairs and jumped into the yellow bug and already running 5 minutes late with the movie theater all the way across town she slammed on the gas and tore off forwards.

When she finally arrived, she met a Regina with a worried face.

"Where were you. I was nervous something happened."

"Sorry I was running late after dropping Henry off and it was just a really-"

Emma was surprised when Regina dove in for a hard kiss.

"-long day." Emma said finishing her sentence since it was interrupted.

"It's okay. Are you ready or do you want to miss the movie."

"I'm ready even though we're not gonna watch one bit of it."

They walked into their theater and got seats near the top in the left corner where no one was. They sat down and Regina trapped Emma in the corner. Regina put her head on Emma shoulder and the blonde kissed Regina's temple.

Regina looked up at Emma and smiled before Emma dove into those red perky lips waiting for her.

They kissed for a long time into the movie. Near the middle of the movie Regina asked if Emma wanted to go and Emma said yes so they ran out of the theater like some horny teenagers, which they were, and ran to Emma's car considering Regina walked there.

Emma started the car while kissing Regina's neck and she slowly pulled out of the parking lot. Emma pushed the gas more when she heard Regina starting to unbutton her blouse. She looked over to the halfway naked woman with a black lace bra. Regina turned quickly to the road looking for Emma since her eyes were clearly occupied on Regina's breasts. Regina noticed something on the side of the road and Emma was quickly coming upon it seeing as she was going 15 mph over the speed limit of 35 mph.

"WATCH OUT!" Regina screamed at the top of her lungs before Emma quickly tore out of her gaze and swerved the car.
