"Thanks for ditching me," (Y/n) hissed with a scowl on her face, her ponytail now loose and closer to her ear which was why she used one hand to take out the tie. Her flower crown barely had any full flowers along with the other crown, she was out of breath. She had just have trees with multiple low hanging branches and the thick shrubs didn't help her when she was running. Bow, previously looking at his tablet, turned his head back in her direction while Glimmer kept her attention on the tablet as she ignored the other girl.
"Sorry (Y/n), I thought you were right behind us," he admitted sheepishly as he rubbed the back of his neck, "guess all that talking with Glimmer distracted me." Glimmer looked over at Bow at the mention of her name, something (Y/n) would remember for a later date. The small opening they were in gave room for them to be feets apart, though the duo were a bit bunched. It was starting to feel like Glimmer was trying to ditch her more and more, though she had to be rational, her mission required it. It didn't matter if Glimmer liked her or not, Bow did which meant Glimmer would give in no matter the favor.
Naturally, it would have to be small, she couldn't ask for fifty units of Red Dust without getting thrown in a jail cell. She would even put her money on it that Glimmer didn't even know about Red Dust, not like a princess would know about one main drug being trafficked. "It's fine Bow," she said as she breathed out a large breath that was most likely inhaled with annoyance and anger. Putting the flower crowns on the ground, she started pulling her hair up and back to make her ponytail once again. Having to restart a few times as there were some leaves in her hair. "Are we closer to the First ones tech?" She asked as she finished up, putting her flower crown on her head while she held the other one.
It was going to be for Double Trouble, though now it looked too ugly even as a gift, and she knew very well how they liked their flower crowns. Besides, yellow with a bunch of other flowers with different colors smashed in wasn't exactly their style, nor was it really fashionably acceptable. Eyes darting back at Bow, Glimmer, and the dark sky, she stayed quiet as Bow explained while being interrupted multiple times by Glimmer. Though (Y/n) had unknowingly ignored it, a blinding blue light had practically invaded her field of vision with a few trees cutting the light from invading her entire field of vision.
Jogging directly towards it, she came face to face with a sword. A strange looking one at that, all the swords in the Crimson Waste resembled that of a Rapier or a dagger, few swords were styled in a Katana like format as it was a den for criminals. The sword had a basic design, which wasn't unusual, it was the gem and that strange constellation stuff on it that made it so strange. Some roots seemed to have kept the sword put, though it was clear that they were significantly weaker than the roots that protruded from the ground. Even compared to the highly raised roots, though those were incredibly thick and large so it was quite unfair to compare them.
