Warning
There will be swearingThe light that came through the purple-blue tinted leaves appeared light yellow, something that (Y/n) never failed to complain about with Bow. But Bow wasn't with her at the moment, he was currently looking for materials in the woods to improve his arrows, something the girl thought to be stupid, but she didn't tell him that. The woods unnatural behavior was to be expected, it was the whispering woods, it was full of magic for fucks sake. She was leaning against a tree, sitting on a thick branch as her legs crossed under.
Her hair was in a plain ponytail, she didn't style it too often as it took a lot of time she didn't want to waste. Her gaze fell on the flowers that grew close to the trees, the flowers glowed a tiny bit though it wasn't very noticeable as it was still day out. It had a beautiful light yellow hue in the inner petals, but had a light blue hue on the outer edges of the petals glow as well. (Y/n) could just tell how pretty it'd look in the dark.
"You know you'd gain more by at least walking around more," she didn't recognize the voice, but the attitude was all she needed. Using her hands to create a better grip, (Y/n) slid upside down before rolling out on the ground and propping up on her feet.
"I almost didn't recognize you, you overgrown lizard," she began with a smirk, expression speaking volumes as though she had won the verbal battle. Her hand automatically went to twirl her hair in a clockwise manner on her left side with her right hand. The massively brute orc she was staring at didn't have an amused expression, or that was until they shifted back to what they called their original form,
"Sometimes you're just plain mean." Their expression hadn't changed, still an unamused expression that had hints of bitter anger. Their arms had crossed over their chest at that point.
"I'm kidding," (Y/n) admitted with a smile, her hand shoving her hair back as she extended her arms a bit to send the message of wanting a hug, "you know I am." They didn't budge, and their expression didn't change, not a single bit,
"Honey, I know you're good at your job- like I am with mine- but we both made a promise to not do each other dirty." The glare they had given to (Y/n) was one that put even Glimmers to shame, not like the girl had a good one in the first place. It actually made her slowly put her arms down, not in defeat, but in realization.
"I'm sorry," she stated as she walked closer to them, "I'll keep that in mind next time we meet." Extending her arms upwards so she could give them a proper hug, and they opened their arms to give a hug back with a hopeful expression. They knew why she always went for the hug, she wasn't used to receiving affection and they were the only other being that she could come to and not be ashamed.
