Chapter 14

(Alex's P.O.V)

"Why were you out training?" Kaiden had been acting weird for the past few days and she was worried about him.

"I just want to be ready for any fights we might be in" Well that sounds like him.

"Aven is gone we don't have to worry. Plus your nearly as good as me with a sword." I stuck my tounge out at him.

"Oh really? You, me after lunch in the Arena what do you say?" Oooo he just chalanged a part Mayaian.

"Oh it's on. You guys will come to right to be the judges right?" The others in our group nodded.

"We wouldn't miss the two best sword fighters in the Acadamy fight to see who is the best. Right Bae?" Bear sai the last part aimed at his new boyfriend Declan.(Haha finally some Decar(wow I need to work on ship names)action)

"We are in to and we will tell Fletcher one or both of his fav patiaints will be paying him a vist." Jordan lauphed.

"Welp it's settled. See you in the Arena in ten minutes." I got up and left to go get ready.

Changeing into my training clothes from when I trained with Nyix. I hadn't weilded a sword much since the war I avoided haveing to use one as much as possible. I went down to the Arena to train a little while I waited for my friends.

"Well well look what the cat dragged in." Kaiden said enetering. "Well more like the cat will drag in."

Our friends took their places in the stands along with Fletchter and a bunch of other students who wanted to watch us fight.

"Enouph with the chit chat. This is not a conversation it's a do or die situcation." Okay we banted like this everytime we faught.

"Then what are you waiting for melady take your strick." Well okay.

I did my old lunge and jab which he blocked streight away but little did he know while I haven't been training with a sword I had trained ageility wise. I jumped doing a flip over him and getting the sword round his neck while also knocking his sword out of his hand. The crowd cheered as I let him go. He stood there shocked for a minute before picking up his sword and sticking. I blocked his strick. He sticked again and this time knocked the sword out of my hand.

"I don't lik those swords any way." I say sommonimg A'enara.

We began batteling again.

"QUEENIE QUEENIE QUEENIE" The crowd started cheering.

I looked to face the crowed to soak in the praise. Kaiden attempted to trap me but this time I ducked down and rolled so I was by his side when I jumped back up and hit his sword into the air catching it and putting both our swords to his neck at Mayarian speed.

"That's two to me and none for you. Who is the better fighter?" I ask as the swords were at his throat I made sure not to burn him with A'enara.

He grabbed my arm that was holding his sword and flipped me.

"First rule if you have two swords have both at your apponents neck so that all your strength is even not weakend at the one at their throat." Kaiden said.

"That's okay if you want me to burn your throat with A'enara." I reminded him.

"Right well either way." Next thing he knew he was on the ground A'enara pointed at his throat.

"Rule two don't get distarcted excpecailly against someone with Mayarian super speed." This time I was the one teaching him.

I helped him up before walking away banishing A'enara and leaveing the arena joined by my friends and everyone else shortly after.
