Medoran Chronicles Alex X Kaiden

Ch 9

Aven got up and walked towards me as I backed away falling off the bed landing hard on my back.

"Get away from me." I said my voice more confidant then I felt.

Aven laughed moving closer as I struggled to get away. I couldn't stand and I couldn't run. Luckly a sound from the door caught both our attention and in came Kaiden.

"What are you doing on the floor Alex?" He asked worriedly.

"Well Av-" I stopped when I turned around and Aven wasn't there.

"Well what Alex?" He questioned moving over to me.

"Aven was here he came in through the window he said he was coming for me." I said trying to stand but failing luckily Kaiden caught me so I didn't fall again.

"Aven was here but you said you imprisoned him?" Kaiden asked carrying me bridle style back to bed.

"I did." He placed me on the bed sitting down next to me.

"Well I am not leaving your side." He pulled over the food he had put down on the end of the bed and we dug into the chicken and mash. 

Once we ate we layed down next to each other.

"I have a feeling we are being watched." I commented on the nagging feeling.

"Same" He agreed.

"Please do't leave me." I begged pulling him closer.

"I won't" He said pulling me as close as he could.

I sighed and and held him close drifting off to sleep again. Kaiden lay awake watching makeing sure no one was there watching and waiting.

It was only a few hours before I woke again and Fletcher had returned saying after some Musial training I could go. So with Kaiden's help I stood up and walked around for about ten minutes before I was free to go under the watchful eye of Kaiden.

"I'm gonna go cheek Aven is still stuck in the portrait." I announced.

"Okay, I'm coming with you." I knew there was no point arguing so we just went down to the Librery to cheek Meya.

We walked over to the portrait jumping in when we saw no one was watching.

"So you have returned is my ban lifted already?" Aven laughed.

"How were you in the Med Ward?" I snapped.

"Oh I still have some faithful allies." He laughed.

"Who is still out there?" Kaiden snapped.

"Why would I tell you?" He continued laughing.

"Because right now we could kill you." Kaiden snapped again.

"Yes kill me Kaiden see how that will end." Kaiden went to lunge at him but I held him back.
