Chapter 15

(Alex's P.O.V)

For the next few days, Kaiden and my fight in the arena was the talk of the school! A lot of people were team 'Queenie'!! Kaiden calmed down a bit and trained less though he roped me into training with him once a week. Kaiden changed a lot after the war we all did. So many were lost! Bear's father, teachers, family and friends alike! I still can't get the battle out of my head. Kaiden keeps up with his promise to Nyix, we spend two nights a week hanging out just the two of us, we would hang out in the forest or I would take him to Maya and we would spend some time with King Roka.

I had stopped hearing Aven at night and I took the seamless sleep potion Avery night so the dreams stopped, I had caught up on a lot of sleep lately which Kaiden was very proud of. He spent every night in my dorm so he could watch over me.

There was the odd night that I would wake up as he wouldn't be there, he brushed it off by saying he had gone back to his dorm to talk to Declan but since it was normally around 4:00 am that he returned I didn't believe him but I just brushed it off. I shouldn't expect him to tell me everything since I don't tell him everything. It still worried me a little cause I know Kaiden and this wasn't like him.
