"Again Kala!" My father commands. I take a deep breath and do a series off punches and kicks, fire shooting out from my feet and fists. I end and pant from my repeated practicing. I face my father and Fire Lord Ozai and bow deeply.
"Very good...Admiral Kuno, your daughter is a brilliant firebender, just like Azula. You should be very proud." Fire Lord Ozai tells my father.
"Thank you, my Lord. I am." My father gives him a smile and bows to him. Fire Lord Ozai gives me an approving nod before departing. My father turns to me with a smile. "Go to your mother, Kala. It is time for her lesson." I nod and run off to our house; estate is more like it. My father IS an Admiral in the Fire Navy. I enter our estate and go to my mother's healing room.
"I'm here, Mother." I say and smile at the beautiful woman I'm proud to call my mother. She smiles up at me.
"Ah, my little water drop. Ready for our healing lesson?" My mother asks me with a voice as smooth as the red silk dress she is wearing. I nod with a smile and kneel next to her.
My parents have always told me that I have been blessed with the power to heal with my waterbending. But I have never been taught to fight with my waterbending. No one, outside of my parents, know that I can also bend water. It took years for my mother to become accepted in my father's country. So I fight with fire, and heal with water.
