2 days before Meliodas comes

Hanging from the chains of imprisonment I laid there. you may have thought I was dead if you looked at me for the first time. But I was just sleeping.

I could hear my brother humming to himself in the cell next to mine. I couldn't see him but he was there. I hummed with him eventually growing bored. I snap my chains off and wait for my body to heal itself. 

"y/n. What are you doing." I hear my brother say in a bored voice. "coming to visit." I get up and walk to the bars. "sit the hell down they'll hurt you." I scoff and ignore him like always. I take the bars in my hands and attempt to break them. 

"you still trying to do that?" Ban laughs a little and I cross my arms. "I'm still as weak as ever," I say going to sit back at my space. "hey hey. you're not weak just...Not that strong." I start to get annoyed and punch the wall next to me. 

Usually, it would hurt my fist and I would be grunting in pain. but I made a slight dent in the wall causing the cells to shake. "whoops." I say as I hear the guards come running. "how the fu- nevermind" I say to myself with a sweatdrop

"How the- you know what-." I hear Ban say with an annoyed tone. I can hear the fact that he's shaking his head in confusion.  

"what's this commotion!" I Hear the guards rush over to MY cell. of course its me, how the fuck is my strength gonna come right now of all times. what did I do- "y/n! get back in your chains or they'll hurt you-" ban whisper shouts. I have no time to think when they open my cell and see me out of my retrains.

"Hey, you!" one of them comes and grabs me by the hair. They drag me out of m cell and I try and get out of their grip. they stop in front of Bans cell and slam my face against it. Like damn, my hair wasn't that well did- but gimme a break.

"ban." I say flinching at the feeling of my face hitting the metal. "get the off of her." he says in a warning tone. they open his cell door and throw me in it. I scoff and get back up being the stubborn person I am. 

"Idiot. Stay down." ban says in a worried yet warning tone. "why. I'll just be weak forever if I dont fight for my own rights." I say annoyed. "Im not kidding y/n. They'll kill you. plus who the fuck has rights in jail" I roll my eyes and without warning, I feel a stinging sensation in my left shoulder. 

"y/n!" 

"Im fine," I say taking out the blade and throwing it to the ground. He grabs my hair and I let him. "you're not gonna fight back?!" he yells. I shrug and he throws me to the ground as he punches the hell outta me. 

"ouch," I say as I stand up again. 

(how tf you just gonna say ouch 😭)

"you said you wanted to fight back so why the hell aren't you?" Ban says annoyed that he can't help. "Im testing something." Two more knights come in one of them punches me in the gut causing me to cough up a bit of blood, the other one hits me on the head with the back of his sword. 

My body aches as I stand up once more.

 "Rapacity." 

Ban looks at me weird then lets out a sigh. "you greedy bastard." he says with a little chuckle.  "I get it from yo-. can you not Im talking to someone." I stop and look to see the first knight and attack me. I catch his punch with my hand and bend it the other way until I hear a satisfying snap.  (rapacity means Aggressive Greed)

"now. please let me talk to my big brother please." I Say in an innocent voice. 

"you're crazy!" they say leaving the room. "It takes one to know one!" I say waving. "have a good day!" I say with a smile as I turn around to face my brother. 

"Hi, big bro!" I say running and standing in front of him. "What just happened," he says deadpan. 

"what do you mean?" I ask confused. he sighs and gets up from his confinements. "you grew hair." I say touching his beard. "yes. yes, I did but dont change the subject." he says sitting down. I sit down in front of him and he looks at me confused.

"Rapacity. Aggressive Greed. Why did you say that?" he asks me. I look at him and tilt my head. "I dont know. I just said it."  look at my hands and look back up at him. 

"well. It tired me out soooo. Goodnight!" and without another word, I fall in front of my brother and fall asleep.
