3rd Pov

Darkness surrounds two figures. One is a pure being of evil, and one borrowing its strength.

"Meli, what's happening." she asks slightly scared. "this power. It's so dark, and-" he puts his hand over y/n's mouth and looks at her with a reassuring smile.  

"I've been looking for someone to trust with this power. And it looks like I found her."

"Where are we." y/n asks looking around to see nothing but darkness. 

"y/n..y/n I'm sorry."  

she turns around to see Meliodas nealing to the ground with his head in his arms. she sees water droplets hitting the ground where his face is pointed and she runs over to him. 

"M-meli, where are we and whats wrong." 

He doesn't look up at her but he does wipe his tears away. "the power I gave you, it was to soon and I lost control of it, Our bodies are moving on there own we're completely indulged in the power." he says clenching his fist.

y/n's eyes widen and she doesn't know what to say. 

"It's not your fault, you did what you thought was right and-"

"but you dont get it! It is my fault!" he says cutting her off causing her to step back a bit at his sudden tone. 

"I gave you this power becuase I was selfish! I keep all my feelings locked away, becuase I can't tell you how I feel and I can't face the guilt of telling Elizabeth either!" 

y/n's face softens and she walks over to him a little.

"meli-"

"don't, I wouldn't have to feel this way if you-"

"If we never met..right." 

She finishes his sentence and Meliodas looks at her with hurt eyes. "I get it, You nad Elizabeth should be happy and I've messed with your feelings so now you have no idea what to do."

 tears begin forming in both of there eyes. 

"From now on, we dont talk about what happened. we act as we've just been good friends and nothing changes. Don't mention this conversation." y/n says as she begins to walk farther into the darkness.

"I'll see you- when we wake up."

Meliodas's Pov 

These feelings. They're all messed up and all the secret aIl wanted to keep from them the people that I loved, and not just Elizabeth. 

Y/n makes me feel like Elizabeth did 3000 years ago.

and I know that she hasn't gotten her memories back yet, but when she does its either break her and love y/n, or break y/n and love her. damn this all. I brought it on my own I'll just deal with this later.

But- I know even If I break the curse, it would never be the same. I think she would understand, besides shes Elizabeth.

I think-  I think I found her, I think I found the person that's been missing in my life.  I think- that I love you y/n. You'll never be Elizabeth, but you fill the void in my heart

3rd pov

"y/n! captain!" Diane looks down at the two bodies in her hand and they shuffle a little before opening their eyes

"oh..yo, Diane." Meliodas says weakly. "hey.." y/n manages to breathe out. Diane starts to smother them with affection and Ban and Elizabeth sigh in relief that the two are ok.

they jump down and walk towards them. y/n keeping her distance from Meliodas because of there talk from earlier. she walks over to Ban and gives him a hug. 

"I didn't hurt anyone right!" she says nervously. tightening her grip on her brother. he pats her back. "no. no, you didn't." 

she lossens up in relief until she hears certain people call for her. 

"y-y/n...where are y-you! H-help" she darts her head in the direction of the people and her eyes widen as panic takes over her body. 

"Jayda! Ethan! what happened!" she yells as they all run towards them. Ethan was carrying Jayda in his arms with light tears in his eyes. "Ethan! what happened?" Ban asks worried just as much as y/n was. 

"Its Hotori, she just attacked us and Jayda tried to fight her off. I helped as much as I could but she overworked herself and Hotori ran off!" 

Everyone's eyes widen and rage fills y/n. 

"DAMN HER!" y/n yells in anger Ban and Meliodas hold her back. "Look what did she did to her!" she says pointing to jayda's bruised and bloody state. 

"oi sis! calm down!" Ban yells trying to help. "n/n it's ok we can help!" 

"let. go," she says pushing them off of her. the feeling to protect came to her once more and she indulged in flames running away to find her enemy.

"Lord Ban! Lord Meliodas! we must help her!" Elizabeth says worried looking at the two males. 

"No, I'll get her. the rest of you stay here and fight!" Meliodas says running after y/n with a determined and angry face. 

"Hotori!" she yells trying to find the person that made Jayda this way she feels a familiar hand grab her arm and she immediately cools down and turns around hugging Meliodas out of terror.

She breaths heavily and she's out of fear. "M-meli. I lost it again," she says in a scared voice. "y/n it's ok I'm here." he says resting his head on her while hugging her tightly in a secure hold.

the sins and Elizabeth walk over and Ban has a smirk on his face, Elizabeth has a little smile, and Diane has a pouting face while King tries to cheer her up. 

y/n looks up at Meliodas with eyes of sadness and affection. The two of them don't know the rest are there, and the space between them grows thinner and thinner. 

"Meli..I think-"

Her sentence gets cut short with the space between them being no more. His lips touch hers and she melts into the kiss. Just as it starts it ends and she's pulled into a tight embrace again. "I kept what I said in mine, and thought I should show you how I feel."

he holds her tightly and they start to hear little laughs. they look over and see Ban smirking, Diane still pouting and Elizabeth laughing a little.

"Meli..."
