Capítulo Veintidos

"Malapit na ba tayo?" tanong ko kay Raphael habang nakatakip ang mga palms niya sa aking eyes.

"Yeah. We're almost there," aniya habang patuloy pa rin kami sa paglalakad.

When his palms left my eyes, I am amazed by the scenery I am seeing right now. May mesa at dalawang upuan na magkaharap ang nasa gitna ng isang napakagandang garden. Napapalibutan ito ng mga beautiful flowers and plants. There are also several dishes ang nakahain sa table.

Napakaganda ng mga fairy lights na nakabagsak sa mga trees. It was like a perfect timing because the moon is also in its full shape kaya't maging ang light na taglay no'n ay nababagay sa romantic place na ito.

"Happy anniversary, Victorina," wika ni Raphael dahilan upang mapatingin ako sa kanya at nakita ko siyang wide ang smile at inilahad ang isang bouquet ng mga roses. I accepted it immediately.

Iginaya niya ako sa aking chair at hinila niya pa ito before I fully take a seat.

I love this candlelight dinner he prepared for our anniversary. So romantic.

"Pasensya ka na kung hindi ako ang nagluto ng mga pagkaing iyan. I tried. But I just keeps on failing," he cutely said.

I smiled at him. "Ano ka ba?! Of course, it's ok. Alam ko naman na wala kang cooking skills na namana kay tita Fiona," I said and he just laughed at it dahilan upang matawa na rin ako.

Ang dami na rin pala naming napagdaanan. We have been through trials and hardships.  Our family's secrets have been uncovered resulting for us to break apart.

Looking back dati. Naalala ko pa ang mga times na hindi ako matanggap-tanggap ni tita for her beloved son.

Me and Raphael are currently having a lunch in his favorite seafood restaurant. I am so happy dahil I am with the man I love but my smile is suddenly remove when I saw who enters the restaurant, she is none other than, the ferocious lady named Fiona at may kasama siyang isang morena na babae. She's tall and has a slender body. She could passed as a model if she wanted it to.

Raphael eyed at me. "What's wrong?"

Hindi pa man ako nakakasagot sa question niya ay narinig ko na ang voice ni tita Fiona na tinawag ang lalakeng kasama ko.

Raphael turned to them. "What are you doing here, ma?"

Tita Fiona smiled widely. "Kakain sana kami ni Karen dito tapos nakita namin kayo kaya minabuti naming puntahan na kayo ni Victorina."

Oh she's Karen.

She's pretty but I am sure that I am also pretty so there's no need for me to feel insecure.

"Sasabay na kami ni Karen sa inyo," wika ni tita.

"Ma!" saway ni Raphael sa mom niya but it's too late dahil tumabi na sa akin si tita and the lady named Karen sat beside Raphael.

"How are you?" tanong ni Karen while looking at my man with eyes twinkling and lips smiling so wide.

"I'm fine," tipid na sagot ni Raphael.

I bit my lower lip to stop myself from smiling.

I felt tita looked at me before she brings her gaze to Raphael and Karen.

"Ah Karen, siya nga pala. I would like you to meet Victorina, my..." hindi na natapos ang sasabihin ni Raphael because tita cuts him off.

"She is Raphael's future ex-girlfriend."

A pang of pain hits me.

She still doesn't like me. And it hurts because I can clearly see kung sino ang lady na want niya for his son.
