seven

"jisung" hyunjin called the boy after a long period of silence between them in the car. he then pulls over to the side of the road. they're now at a beach. somewhere far from where they came from.

"yes?" jisung answered, he still cant believe he's finally out of that filthy place. its been years.

hyunjin look at him and giggles softly. "can i ask you something?"

jisung nodded. "of course. i'll answer as much question as i can" and smiles back at hyunjin.

"do you believe in fate? or that we have our own soulmate?" hyunjin asked. the environment around them are serene. its quiet, and peaceful. nobody else is here. except for whoever is spending their night at the resort in front of them of course.

" actually, i do. but i can't seem to find the one yet." jisung said as he looks down to his knees.

"hey" hyunjin runs his finger on jisung's cheeks, which made the latter gasps a bit. he's scared because its exactly what the drunk guy did to him at the club.

"look at me" hyunjin said, fingers now down the younger's chin. making jisung automatically facing him. the boy gather his courage to finally open his eyes and made an eye contact with hyunjin.

its happening again, he thought.

"jisung-ah" hyunjin called for the boy, which made jisung came back to reality. "can you see it too?" hyunjin said, trying to make it clear.

"your eyes" both of them said, monotonously.

this time its no longer a doubt.

their eyes are slowly turning to a purple colour shade.

"i like you. a lot, actually" hyunjin said, still looking into the boy's eyes.

"i... dont deserve you. you're too perfect, you know. it's not that i don't like you. i do but—"

hyunjin went forward to stop jisung's talking by pecking on his lips, making his face blushes. hyunjin giggles.

"stop talking nonsense. just tell me do you like me back or not?" hyunjin said, smiling at jisung, excited to know his answer.

hyunjin is this kind of guy that really went straightforward with what he wants.

"i don't like you though.." the answer leaves hyunjin in shocked and disappointed. then the younger continued, "but i'm in love with you already"

they're both actually unsure of their feelings but the most important thing now is that, they feel safe.

hyunjin automatically smiled at him and leaned in for a kiss. not a peck, but a kiss.

and that night is the most unforgettable night jisung ever had in his life.
