Chapter 28: Jake Gordon

~ At Jake Gordon's place~

Yukiko POV

Before we reach his place, Romario did a brief introduction about Jake Gordon to me. He is the youngest Vongola representative. Most of the big mafia group will have a group of people representing them. Most of the time the boss or the people from the main family would not attend most of thr events unless it is important. But Dino likes to socialize so he will always try to attend as much as possible. So Jake Gordon represents Vongola in this sort of events." Is Jake Gordon the son of the Vongola's boss or something?" I ask Romario. He then explains that Jake Gordon is the third son of the machinery man, Jason Gordon. Their family had been working under Vongola ever since the third boss of Vongola has ask them to. They are the best machine maker in Italy ever since the third generation of Vongola till now, the ninth. Since his family greatly benefited the Vongola, the ninth decided to use everyone in the family to their greatest as possible in Vongola. So that's how he become the representative of Vongola. No wonder he know much about Acrobalenco.

~ at night~

Dino nii and the guys are talking with Jake's father, Jason, while Jake is bringing me around. He is quite a nice person. A cute face and a height of about 173cm and a slim body build, I bet he is the kind of guy that many girl would dream off. He brings me to their library and show me something really interesting. " Yuki chan, I dont know why but we just happen to be getting along well so I thought I would like you to know this." we settle down at the most cozy looking sofa and he begins.

" I have to admit that I have my motive to help you. This motive is simply because you look way too alike to th Bachina Tomaru that I worship." he starts off. Reborn san used to tell me that even Bachina Tomaru is dead long ago but there are still thousands after thousands of people that are worship her. What is just so great about her? But this is not the time to care about such trivial matters. On the serious note now, I ask " You are saying how Bachina Tomaru is linked to acrobalenco?" he begins again. This time on focus on the curse. " You know that Bachina Tomaru is cursed and so as Acrobalenco right? One of my seniors guess that maybe all infants share her blood. He thinks that the pacifier is for identity purpose. Like how these babies can identify each other and most importantly their master. Their pacifiers are also based on the rainbow elements. Just like Bachina Tomaru. Speaking of which the tattoo on your neck looks like Bachina's but different." I smile and use my hand to cover my neck. He just reminded me to continue my training. " Wait, there is something I would like you to have. My family has been working for Vongola ever since the third boss of it. Till now it is the ninth. So when I was younger, I stole this book about Bachina Tomaru back. And now I would like you to have this." he pass me a small book that looks like it is dated 1000 years ago. I dust off the layer of dust on top and read the title. About her, Bachina Tomaru. I am shocked that someone that I just know today is giving me something that is very important to me. " No way!! This must be precious to you..why would you want to give it to me?" he gives a shy smile and his reply makes me giggle a little. " You know the feeling when a fan meets their idol? Today when I met you at Bachina Tomaru museum, it is meeting a superstar! Till now, I still can't believe that someone that look exactly like Bachina Tomaru is in my library. Yuki chan, you have made my day!" I kindly accept his gift to me.

We decided to join Dino nii and the rest since he said that he has told me everything I know and wish me good luck on finding the rest. When the moment he says that, I dont know why but I have a feeling that he seem to know ny real identity. That I am the one that inherit Bachina Tomaru's inheritance.

We went out and listen to what the rest is talking about. Jason Gordon is sharing about his experience at Vongola during his service for the ninth. " The ninth is a nice man. A great boss and in the eyes of others, including myself a good father so everyone is very shocked when the "cradle" affair happens eight years ago." I must have given a confused look because he smiles at me and then explain. " Yukiko san, the cradle affair is something happens within Vongola so great that the whole mafia world know about. But nobody dares to mention it because of the power and position Vongola is in. The ninth's son, Xanxus, started this chaos. He is now the head of Varia, Vongola's elite independent assassination squad. They are a group of people that can kill without seeing blood. That's how good and strong they are. Anyway back in eight eyes ago when the cradle affair happened, he lead a group of unknown people to attack the Vongola's base and injured many. He even made it through the ninth's room. What happen in the room nobody knows except for him and the ninth. But Xanxus was asleep for eight years until this year then he woke up and leads the Varia now. And recently I heard that the ninth is considering him to be the tenth of Vongola which originally the ninth has chosen Tsunayoshi Sawada. Even the outside adviser, Iemitsu Sawada agrees with him. Some of us that are working under the ninth for as long as we know, couldn't belie his sudden change of decision. He is usually not like that. Once he made up his mind, he will stick to it at all cost. So I am wondering does the ninth or Reborn san mentioning anything to you, Dino kun?"

Dino nii shakes his head. " Reborn is puzzled about this as well but the ninth did not mention about this matter which is strange. So unlike him at all." Jake shouts excitedly, " Wait Dino san!! You know Reborn san?!" I can see that Jake is really a big fan of Reborn san because when Dino is explaining that Reborn san is his sensei, he is over the moon. " How about Yuki chan?" and I just merely tell him I used to stay with Reborn san for a period of time. He is totally crazy about it. " You are really fortunate!! To have Reborn san as your sensei, a great assistant Romario and a pretty Yuki chan as your sister!! I am so envy of you Dino san!!" Dino nii simply just laugh humbly while shooting me the look that says " If you know how Reborn is like, you won't think so!" With a few quick goodbyes we retired to our room. The four of us share a room. Jake's place is so big that there is another living room within this big place. This place has four connected bedroom where each of us take one. The moment the door is closed behind me, Coco immediately puke out the pill and go back to its original form. " Must be hard on you Coco. To withstand this 2 hours. You must be tired already..lets go to bed now. We bid goodbye to Dino nii and Romario and we enter into our bedroom and rest. Too much information today to digest today. When this event is over, I need to train Coco of its weapon and also for myself. Plus to read the book that Jake pass to me.
