chapter 29: Confusion

* Time travel to 1 week later*

Yukiko POV

Finally after a week of training after the stay at Jake Gordon's place, Coco manage to master the basic of his new weapon. I have to give some credits to Gianni's dad. The dog bone that arrive suits Coco so much. And after much consideration and seeking Coco's opinion, we have decided to turn him into a mist user. This 1 week of training have helped Coco and I developed much. He is able to withstand the mist energy within him when I insert it to his weapon. And I have at least stable the power of storm, rain and mist. That means the markings on my neck and Mebowa are more deeper. At the same time, I am still learning the power of sun and thunder. They are still very weak and unstable. Sometimes I have a hard time to control them. But at least I improve. I am waiting for the day where I can master all the power of rainbow and bring it to a higher level.

However today I decided to take a break with Coco. With this much of intensive trainings, we really need to take a break. We decide to hit the cost streets in Italy and go on a food hunting session. Dino nii is so good!! " Yuki chan, I really want to spend today with you but I still have some issues that I need to handle. I will pay it back to you okay? But take this with you ans dont go easy on me." he pat my head gently before I left. Now I have a black platinum card to spend. Yup, Dino nii I wont go easy on you. We went to shop, play and my legs are tired. I think Coco is tired as long. We arrive at a pet cafe where both the owner and its pet can enjoy. We are enjoying ourselves away when there is someone tap on my shoulder. I turn around to see that it is Ash Niche from Lacifso. " May I sit here?" he walks to the back of the chair that ia opposite me. I nod and he takes a seat. " You still remember me right? We meet at Bachina Tomaru museum." I nod again. " What's your name? Last time when I ask, buckling horse come almost too immediately. " he smiles. I told him that I am Yukiko and is Dino's sister. He then begins to say just how much I look too exactly like Bachina Tomaru and I telling him the same lies that was told to Jake Gordon, I am a big fan of Bachina Tomaru so much that I want to look like her. He dont seem surprised but in fact reply, " Everyone, be it guy or girl, will be attracted to her. She simply just have this great charisma that nobody has." I smiled at him and we sit in silence for a few minutes before he begins again. " I saw you and Jake Gordon from Vongola yesterday. Nothing personal but just be extra careful with Vongola." he says as he is drinking his tea. Why would he wants me to be on guard of Vongola? " I have heard that Lacifso and Vongola aren't on good terms so is that why you ask me to be careful?"

He laughs and reply, " It is true that Lacifso and Vongola aren't on good terms but that's business. I won't dislike them unless I know what their family is all about personally. Take Bachina Tomaru's incident." wait, I am getting confused here. The more he says, the more confused I am. Because whatever he says is different from what I heard. He says that back then during Bachina Tomaru's time his ancestors used to be in Vongola. The first boss of Vongola was a great man according to the story that has been passing down from his family from generation to generation. He was with 6 other rainbow users as well. Bachina Tomaru was not the 6 but was together with them most of the time. She dont belong to Vongola but since she and the first shared something special, she was with them. Many said that they were an item but nobody knows the truth. Then one day she disappeared at the age of 24. The whole Vongola was searching for her for a week but to no avail. She just gone like that. After 1 week, they stopped searching. Before she left she did leave some hints of what has to come. But she written in a language that nobody understands.

Her piece of note was being passed down from generation to generation. All the way till the fourth, when the boss finally figured out something. The information was released and the whole mafia went crazy. He said there would be 3 signs. There would be a rainbow even there was no rain. This showed that the created curse of Acrobalenco. The second was double rainbow which was the day where all 7 acrobalenco were gathered and gone through the ceremony. And the last would be a triple rainbow where the next Bachina Tomaru would arrive to the world. My family didn't believe it and decided to break off from Vongola and started Lacifso. None of what the fourth said come to pass until the eighth boss take over. During his fifth year as a boss, the first sign was shown. My grandfather thought that it was just coincidence. But everything happened to unexpected.

The second sign came to pass during his 50th year of being a boss. The people really see the change and started going after acrobalenco. But all of them have strong character. They choose the family that they wants to be it. At the end, none of them joins Lacifso but I am glad that they didn't. Imagine if we manage to find the next Bachina Tomaru and she decides to join us, there might be conflict among them dont you think?

Anyway back to the three sign. Before the eighth passed on, he wrote it in his dying will that no matter what Vongola has to captured the next Bachina Tomaru . So everyone in Vongola was all on fire to capture. During the 16th year of the current ninth boss of Vongola, the third sign appeared at Knotowa. Everyone from the whole mafia went there and find but to no avail. My father went too. All Lacifso wants to just have this girl to join us as family and we will protect her from Vongola but it was all too late. After about 9 years later, people said that she was dead. Many thinks that it is Vongola that killed her. So that's end the search for the next Bachina Tomaru.

He drinks his coffee and observe me while I am trying my very best to digest what he just said. 9 years ago..is the time when Mihasa died. Could it be related? But how? He is waving his hand in front of me to get ny attention. When I focus back to him, he smiles and comment to me thay I should be careful. It is a high risk that I make my face way too alike to Bachina Tomaru. People from the mafia world would think that I might be the next her. But I am. He looks at his watch and pay our bills together and told me that he has to rush back to work. He hopes to see me again. Wow..so what is the truth?! Who is saying the truth? Jake Gordon? Or Ash Niche? I am so confused now..I am entering into a confusion stage.

I am reading the book that Jake Gordon passed to me the other day. Most of what I read were something that I already know but there is something in a certain paragraph that caught my eye.

Bachina Tomaru left the mafia world at the age of 24. There were people that witnessed that she might be pregnant. But whose the father? Many suspected the Vongola first. But all contracts were lost. It was as if she disappeared. After 6 years had pass, some villagers found the body of her pet, Kusima, buried nearby. This shows that she had been there before. Kusima's bone was still fresh and scientists found out that Kusima died not too long ago. Apparently, it died due its old age and all the thunder energy within his body was taken away before he died. Nobody has any idea how all these happens but one thing to be certain, Kusima followed Bachina Tomaru all the way and died.

So what's the truth? Who am I supposed to believe? I thought coming to Italy will help me understand more about Bachina Tomaru and myself but instead of that I have more questions than answer. What am I suppose to do? I need help now..but who? Dino nii? But he dont seem to trust Ash Niche just because he is from Lacifso. Coco and I are new in this..how am I suppose to know who to trust? It feels like everything is crashing down. How I wish that I can be back in those days that I can stay happily with Tsuna san and mina..but it's all too late isnt it? I lay down on my bed and wonder about it. I didnt even know that I fall asleep and that the rainbow seal brings me to a journey.
