August: meet me in the bedroom

A message from August came across my phone as I was cleaning the mess from the party's previous events.

"I'll be back y'all." I said throwing away what was already in my hands.

I made my way up the stairs and down the hallway into the master bedroom. Opening the door to August sitting at the edge of the bed on his phone.

He looked up and put his phone away.

"Hey." I said lowly said lowly, gently closing the door behind me. "Wassam love."

It was an awkward silence in the room as if we were complete strangers to one another. I cleared my throat.

"How's Madison holding up?"

"She's been a brat. Attitude 24/7 now."

I chuckled. "Yeah she's coming to the age."

"She's growing up too fast man, she'll be six in a couple months." He shook his head. "You getting old man." I laughed.

"Yeah whatever says the person with a piece of gray hair."

I gasped.

"You're lying, I dont have that." I ran into the bathroom to look in the mirror.

"I'm just messing with you." He said grabbing my hips from behind.

I looked in the mirror at our reflection. I miss this I definitely do, but I just cant act like he didn't cheat.

"August." I sighed.

"Can we please just stay like this for another minute?" He asked with his face in the crook of my neck.

Hesitating at first, still I nodded.

"I miss you." He lips kissed my neck.

"August no."

His lips continued to press again my skin. His hands trickled from my waist to my neck gripping it. He turned my around with quickness.

"I miss everything about you Nadia. I'm sorry for all the hurt I caused you over the time of months. Please for me and come back baybeh." He said breathing onto my neck.

"August I still love you and I miss you too, but I need more time to myself right now." I pressed my hands onto his chest to create a gap of space between us.

"Show me you still love me. Let me prove to you how sorry I am." He picked me up and sat me on the bathroom counter.

"August please." I said with my eyes closed knowing at any minute I could give in.

"Come to see Madison more often, she's been missing you a lot. You took the role of her mother very seriously and I dont want this to be the reason she loses you."

I nodded. "I understand."

"One more thing."

"Yeah?"

"Can you put your ring back on?"

I bit my lip thinking about it, but then shook my head.

"Too soon, I cant."

I can tell that really hurt him but instead he nodded.

"I'll take Madison with me tonight, okay?"

"Yeah, I'll be down in a second."

I nodded and closed the door behind me. I walked down the stairs with key emotions everywhere.

"Sis you okay?" Bre asked.

I nodded but then tears started to leave my eyes.

"Aww pooh." She came over to embrace me with an hug along with all the other women.
