Robert's POV

Vic: After Lucas?

Robert: Yeah, We wanted her to have a meaningful name and something feisty.

Maya: Can I hold her?

Robert: Here.

I watched the team interact with our daughter and it was an adventure at last. Everyone had held her except Montgomery.

Robert: Montgomery do you want to hold her?

Travis: Babies do not love me and this baby is feisty.

Ben: Come on it will be fine.

Ben handed Luca to Montgomery and she snuggled right in.

Ben: She likes you.

Travis: She is pretty cute and tiny.

Carina: She is small, but strong.

Maya: I'm going to go see Andy.

Robert: Okay.

Maya's POV

I left the beanery and made my way to Andy.

Maya: How are you feeling?

Andy: Sore and it still hurts.

Maya: I got to hold Luca. She is beautiful.

Andy: Thanks. I kind of freaked out when I woke up and she wasn't next to me.

Maya: She looks like you and girl has some lungs.

Andy: Yeah. I got to hear those.

Maya: She has a ton of hair and that didn't come from the Chief.

Andy: Yeah dark brown just like mine, and she has my eyes.

Maya: I'm proud of you.

Andy: Thanks. So do you know when I can go home?

Maya: Carina says you can leave when you are ready.

Andy: What time is it.

Maya: Carina said Luca was born at 11:47 a.m. and it is now 5:06 p.m.

Andy: I feel like it is 3:00 a.m.

Robert: Luca is hungry.

Maya: I will give you some space.

Andy: Will you grab the carseat. It is in the back of my car.

Maya: Got it momma.

Andy's POV

I got ready to feed Luca and was dreading the pain that would come with it. When she was finally latched she started to eat. The pain was enough to let the tears fall. I just silently cried and watched Luca eat. Maya brought the carseat from my car and handed it to Robert. He changed into some civilian clothes and came back to find me crying.

Robert: Hey are you okay?

Andy: Yeah just a little painful.

Robert: Your body still hurts.

Andy: No it hurts to feed her, but I am fine.

Robert: Hey stop telling me you are fine, because I know that you are not.

Andy: I want to feel happy, but everything hurts and I feel like I'm weak for not being able to carry her to full term. I'm sorry.

Robert: Hey don't you ever apologize for carrying our baby girl and for bringing her into the world. It is okay if you need time to heal and I am going to be with you through the whole thing. The good, the bad, and the ugly I am going to be here with both my girls for everything. Now can we go home and bring our daughter with us.

Andy: Okay.

He helped me to the edge of the bed and helped me change into some better clothes. I wore a loose top and some sweatpants for going home. We didn't have any clothes for Luca so we put her in the carseat and placed her blanket around her. We put the carseat cover over her and finished picking up his bunk. Robert gave his keys to Maya and she said she would bring his car around when they were able to leave. He put Luca in the car and then I climbed in beside her. The drive to the house was only ten minutes so we were home pretty quickly. When we got there we got inside and I got Luca out and we took her to her room.

Andy: Welcome to your room Luca.

Robert: We should give her a bath and put the little one in some clothes.

We grabbed her tub and gave her a sponge bath since her umbilical stump was still attached. When we were done we put her in a sleeper getting her ready for bed.

Andy: I will feed her before she goes to bed.

Robert: Are you sure I can make a bottle.

Andy: No I can do it. We will figure it out won't we little Luca.

Robert: I will order some food.

Andy: Can we have burgers?

Robert: What ever you want.

I sat down in the rocking chair and grabbed the Boppy. I laid her down and got her to latch. It was still painful, but we were a team.

Andy: Luca you and me we are going to be the best team. We are going to figure out the feeding situation and all the other problems in our way. Your daddy is going to back us up and we will figure this out.

Robert: You two are cute.

Andy: Yeah we are a team and we are figuring it out.

Robert: I love you.

Andy: We love you too. She should be done here soon.

Robert: I will put her in our room. She should sleep for a while.

Andy: Can you help me?

Robert: What do you need?

Andy: Help me take a shower.

Robert: I will go start the water.

I watched him disappear and reappear back in front of me.

Robert: Here let me help you up.

Andy: Take Luca first and then help me.

He grabbed Luca and placed her on one of his arms. He then supported me while I stood and we walked slowly to our room. I watched him place her in the bassinet that was by the window in our room. I walked into our bathroom and looked in the mirror. I was afraid to look, but I took my shirt off and looked. I barely had a bump left, but mine was small to begin with.

Robert: You look beautiful.

He startled me and my hands instantly flew to my stomach.

Robert: Hey you look amazing.

Andy: You don't have to make me feel better.

Robert: I wasn't. I was being truthful. You are the most beautiful person in the world and that person just gave birth to a beautiful baby girl. Luca is out and the food should be here soon. I will set out some clothes for when you are done.

Andy: Thanks.

He made his way to the closet and I slowly got in the shower. The water felt amazing it felt good to wash all the excess fluid and sweat and grime off of my body. I was finished and got out of the shower. I wrapped a towel around my hair and my body then stood at the sink. Robert set out one of his t-shirts that was large on me and shorts that I wore when I was pregnant. I protected myself from the bleeding and put on a nursing bra before changing into the clothes. When I was done I brushed my hair and went to watch Luca sleep.
