After Destariya tended to her cut she looked up to sees the sunrise. The time on her watch showed it was 5 am meaning she had an hour before the doors to the maze opened so she went off to get Jack. It didn't take her too long to find him once she did she pulled out her knife and cut the vines that were holding him up she caught him before he hit the ground causing her cuts to sting more.

Luckily for Destariya, he was still unconscious so she pulled him up to her side and started to carry him out of the maze begging for him not to wake up knowing she wouldn't have enough strength to fight him back.

Her eyes grew heavy again and she could feel her legs giving in. She knew she had lost a lot of blood from Jack stabbing her but with cut on her hand didn't help. She was halfway to the opening of the maze but she could feel her body give in. Destariya leaned her back against the cool wall just like she did before she was attacked.

"Des? that's impossible" Minho called

She looked up to see Minho and Ben she lifted her heavy hand and waved lazily "Oh hey guys"

They both ran up to her and pulled her into a tight hug "Oh my god we are so sorry for not helping we should have helped when he was attacking you" Ben told her.

Destariya shook her head and held onto Ben's hand "Oh shut up Ben its not your fault"

They started to walk out of the maze Ben was carrying Jack and Destariya was leaning on Minho "So how did you protect yourself and Jack while he was out?" Minho asked.

"I used the vines," She told him.

Ben chuckled "And did you run into anything?"

Destariya nodded and looked up at Minho "Minho why didn't you tell me something was in the maze?" She asked.

Ben looked over his shoulder "You didn't tell her about the Grievers?"

Minho shook his head. "No, I was worried she wouldn't go into the maze with us"

Destariya rolled her eyes at him "I would have rather known I would have been more careful while walking around the maze"

There was a moment of silence but Ben spoke up "So how did you get away from it?"

She tenses slightly wondering if she should tell Minho about the fire "Well I climbed" She told them.

Minho looked surprised "You climbed up the vines"

Destariya nodded and Minho continued to question her "Did you see what was out of the maze. What was on the other side?"

"No it was dark and I was kinda running for my life" her head started to get fuzzy and she felt her legs buckle.

"Destariya ?" Minho called. They all stopped and Destariya fell into Minho's arms he had a terrified look on his face and Ben looked lost Minho shook her slightly "Destariya. Oh, God are you okay?"

Destariya pointed to her stomach where her large cut was "No" She replied. Everything started to go black for her.

"Minho we need to hurry up pick her up and run," Ben told his friend.

"Yeah okay don't worry Des we'll get you back to the glade"
