Destariya was getting changed when she heard a knock at her door. "What is it?" She asked,
"Can I talk to you?" Newts' voice was heard from the other side of the door.
"Yeah, just one second" She called back. Destariya finished getting changed and opened the door to let Newt in. "Everything good?" She asked.
He moved over to her bed as she locked the door again he laid down with his arms and legs were sprawled across it.
"Can I stay here for the night?" He asked.
Destariya tilted her head slightly "You want to spend the night here? Like here, here? With me?" She questioned.
He nodded "I mean last night you made me feel safe"
Destariya smiled at the boy "Right well are you going to actually let me get into my own bed or are you going to stay in that position and I'll sleep on the floor?"
He moved up to the wall allowing her to enter her bed. Destariya's back was pressed up against his chest and Newt's hand was placed on her shoulder. He slowly started to stroke her shoulder and soothed her into sleep.
