Hey everyone! Y'know the movie Glass or Split? There's actually this Unbreakable trilogy and James McAvoy is in both films playing a man with DID. Soo, yeshh I'm gonna search up some more so this story ends up having some truth to it.

I was playing video games with Spencer and Dave in my house, the three of us huddled around the couch as our fingers roved around the controllers, pushing buttons and twisting the joystick around.

"Get outta the way Spenc!"

"You buzz off!"

The living room was filled with our boisterous laughter as the game ended, declaring that Dave had won the round. We tumbled into a pile on the carpet, mouths stretched wide into happy grins as we guffawed.

Until my attention was caught by my brother who peeked his head in and gestured for me to step outside.

Confused and slightly interested, I excused myself from the two and quickly went to him who was waiting by the hallway.

Over time, I didn't feel as bothered with George but I made it clear I will never forgive him about what happened with Tammi. He seemed to understand what I was mad about and so didn't push it. Our relationship was cordial, to say the least.

He silently jerked his head in the direction of the front door, and turned without saying anything.

"Huh? George, what was that about?"

He sighed deeply and turned to face me again.

"I meant that someone wants to see you outside. I'll handle your friends."

Pursing my lips so as not to lash out at him, I headed to the door and flung it open, surprise coloring my features at the person on the other side.

"Tammi?"

"Think again, pea-brain."

Ah yes. Of course it was Gerry. Why was I still surprised? Nonetheless, I turned again to make sure no one was around before getting out of the house and shutting the door behind me.

"This is a surprise; you never come to see me. D'you need anything?"

"Actually, Tammi wanted to tell ya something."

Unconsciously, my eyes shifted toward the front door, a little nervous. I wanted to go back inside since I was having so much fun with my friends but I also knew that Tammi wasn't one to just show up at your doorstep unannounced. I immediately knew it was important but hoped she'd make it quick.

"Uh yeah what is it?"

A hard jab at my ribs made me cry out and whip toward the offender, meeting nearly red eyes and a frown which helped me go back to the matter at hand.

"Oy listen up you little runt, this is important!"

"Sorry sorry," I said quickly, trying to placate the hothead. "I'll listen now."

Gerry narrowed his eyes in disbelief but relaxed anyway. He made me feel uneasy but I knew he was only protecting Tammi. So I really couldn't blame him. Though a little less violence would be appreciated.

And so I forced myself to focus on him, a little impatient and annoyed that Tammi chose to come at this time. Yeah I know it's not her fault for dropping in since she had no idea about my friends, but still.

"Tammi has DID."

I blinked twice, trying to process the information. My eyebrows furrowed in confusion and my lips scrunched, attempting to discern what those three letters meant.
