~39 minutes later~
We talked the entire time about our plan of action as if these minutes weren't Larito's last. We both knew they were but I guess we were just trying to avoid it.
"It's only one minute." I said at last when I couldn't bare the tense silence that had set in anymore.
Larito sighed. "I know." he muttered. "And when it comes I won't bother to stop myself from blinking."
I nodded again and stared back down at the ground.
When I looked back up at where he was, he was gone.
