Josie P.O.V

I came face to face with my worst nightmare.....

"Look who we have here. If its not the little ugly whore, josie pyre" said my nightmare. I didn't have time to hide as my eyes locked with brittany. My biggest tormentor in high school. The person i thought i wouldn't see ever again in my life. I wished the table i was seating at would swallow me as she continued walking towards me.  I was at the verge of tears but remembered this was not the time to show my weakness.

"Hey there brittany, its so nice to see you again. I can see you haven't changed a single bit",I said.

" Trying to act smart with me bitch?," she growled. I just sat still and smiled and i felt a wave of courage wash over me.

"Over the years after high school i told myself i wouldn't let people of your kind get to me anymore." I smirked at her.

She raised her hand to hit me but i caught it,"Look here Brittany,i am not the cowardly nerd you tormented in highschool,i am grown now and i promise i can handle you pretty well too. So if i was you,i would gather my little pack of minions and walk out of here"I told her with a firm grip on her hand.

She winced in pain," let me go you good-for-nothing whore". I smirked at her and her minions before loosening my grip on her hand.

"We are not done yet.i will get you",she threatened but i could see anger, embarrassment and fear in her eyes.

"Lets go brits, she is not worth your time",her minion ,olivia scoffed.

I waved them off like they were dirt. I couldn't believe i just stood up to the person i feared most all my teenage life. I was still between emotions when the waitress arrived with my food. I smiled and thanked her.

I prepared to dig in my meal when someone sat across me....

Matthew P.O.V

I was faced with a frustrated lynda and a wailing quisha.

"I tried everything to calm her down but she seems bent on being cranky today",Lynda said.

"Give her to me",I said as i stood up and took quisha from a tired looking Lynda.

"Thank u for helping Lynda,i know this is not part of your but thank you". I told her as i rubbed a crying quisha's belly.

"There you go baby, dada is here. Why are you crying? Did you miss dada? I whispered as i tried to calm her down but it was not working.

"Matt,i know i have no right to tell you this because am just your secretary but i think its high time you got a Nanny." Lynda said.

"Not you too,Lynda. You know i cannot let a stranger around my kids", I whined.

"Matt, you have built a wall around your kids, young at not giving them an opportunity to be kids. Play with other children, meet other people,go to the park. Your children need a life Matt, away from office and people older than them." Lynda protested.

"Are you trying to teach me how to raise my own children?" I yelled. "And besides they meet other children while at school." I justified.

"I am not trying to teach you how to raise your children. I am just pointing out your flaws. You are a great dad Matt, but your children need more than just their dad, they need other people to relate to." Lynda shot back.

"They have you,Benjamin and other people here at the office to relate to". I said knowing that she was right i was concealing my children from my own fears not theirs.

"All I will say to you now,is think about it. If not for you, then do it for the kids,Matt before they miss out alot on their childhood".Lynda said as she kissed now a sleeping quisha's forehead and left my office.

I continued cradling my little girl as she slept, soft whimpers escaping as she slept because she slept herself to sleep.

My mind was now filled with what my two friends had told me....

And i knew they were right.
