3rd Person POV

Bakugo slowly opened his eyes as his alarm blared loudly in his room. He reached to turn it off but the left side of his body felt weighed down. He quickly looked down to notice little Izuku cuddle up next to him, his head rest on his arm. Bakugo smiled softly before snapping out of it and smashing the alarm with his fist.

"Wake up Deku." Bakugo said, nudging the kid softly. Izuku made a small noise but remained asleep. Bakugo sighed and lifted the kid gently off his arm and placed him back down on the bed. Kids don't take that long to get ready anyways. I'll wake him up after I'm done, Bakugo thought to himself as he got out of bed and headed into the bathroom. He brushed his teeth quickly and combed his fingers through his hair gently.

Bakugo slipped into a pair of shorts and a t-shirt before walking back over to the bed. "Dekuuu, wake up." Bakugo softly shook his shoulder. This time Izuku yawned loudly before rubbing his eyes.

"Why are we waking up so early Kacchan?" He stretched his arms above his head as he pushed out of bed.

"We have to go to school, remember?"

"But that's big kid school, why do I have to go? I'm not a big kid yet." Izuku pouted crossing his arms. Bakugo just shook his head and helped Izuku get ready.

Once Izuku was fully dressed, Bakugo began walking towards the door. "Piggy back ride!" Izuku cheered holding his hands up. Bakugo turned around to look at him, That's the cutest thing I've ever seen. Bakugo paused for a second and shook his head quickly. Why the fuck am I acting like this? He's still the same annoying Deku. Nothing's changed.

Bakugo looked away from Izuku and walked to the door, opening it quickly. "You have legs don't you? Why don't you use them?"

Izuku stood where he was for a second, his arms still raised in the air. He slowly lowered his arms to his side before looking down at the ground. "Oh, okay." He muttered softly, walking behind Bakugo who hadn't bothered to wait up for him.

Bakugo entered the kitchen with Izuku trailing behind him. Izuku's head was lowered, his eyes looking at the ground. The rest of the class had already beat them there and were eating breakfast as they entered. Bakugo sat down at a high stool that was positioned in front of the kitchen counter. He swiped a banana and began to eat it when Izuku approached him. "Kacchan?"

"What?" Bakugo replied sharply, not bothering to look down.

"C-can you help me?" Izuku asked, pointing up to the chair that was way too tall for him. Bakugo scoffed, "Do I have to do everything for you? It's a chair. Just sit in it already and leave me alone."

Izuku flinched as Bakugo spoke, obviously hurt by his attitude. Izuku turned to the chair and began to struggle onto it.

"Bakugo, dude. What's your problem? Help him." Kirishima said, looking at Bakugo with confusion. Bakugo rolled his eyes.

"Why? The kid's gotta learn somethings on his own."

"Bakugo, what the hell? Can't you see he's having trouble?" Mina chipped in, motioning towards Izuku who was still struggling to get up onto the stool. He had just managed to hook both of his feet onto the stool when it became unbalanced. Izuku let out a sharp gasp as the stool tipped over. His back made hard contact with the ground, the stool landing on top of him and slamming into his already injured ribs which were still wrapped from he had first injured them. He let out a small cry as he pushed the stool off of him.

"Midoryia!" The class quickly rushing over to him to check on him. Izuku clutched his ribs as he sat up, tears swelling up in his eyes. He looked up at Bakugo, but he hadn't even bothered to turn around to face him.

That was the last straw for Izuku and he began to cry. However, he wasn't screaming like most kids do when they begin to sob. Instead, tears just rolled down his cheeks as he looked down at his feet that were out in front of him and rubbed his ribs.

Todoroki gently scooped the boy up in his arms, wiping away some of the tears. "Are you okay Midoryia?" Izuku gave a small nod, not saying anything. He continued to just look at the ground as the class tried to talk to him.

"I'll take him to Recovery Girl to make sure his ribs are okay." Todoroki announced as he turned away from the class and walked out the front doors. What a piece of shit, Todoroki thought to himself as he shot a glance at Bakugo.

Once they were out the door, the class all turned to Bakugo. Bakugo looked over at them and sighed, "What"

"What the fuck was that Bakugo?!" Kaminari yelled, stepping towards him.

"Deku fell? I thought it was pretty obvious."

"Dude what's your problem? One second we aren't allowed to even look at him and now you're treating him like shit?" Mina spat at him.

"It's not my job to watch the brat 24/7."

"He just got out of the hospital from being mugged Bakugo! He's been through a lot and he can't even remember any of us! You are the one person who he actually knows and you didn't even acknowledge him!" Uraraka was fuming as Iida put a hand on her shoulder. Bakugo shrugged, finishing up the rest of his banana.

The class looked at him, the tension in the room being so thick that you could cut a knife with it. "Come on guys, we're going to be late for class." Jiro said, leading the rest of them out the front door. Mineta made a point of slamming the door behind them, leaving Bakugo alone in the kitchen.

Bakugo looked down at the spot where Izuku had fallen. Why AM I acting like this? Deku's been through a lot and the others are right... I am treating him like trash AGAIN. I thought I was getting better, but I'm only getting worse.

(Beginning of Class)

Aizawa stood in front of the teacher's stand, frustration visible in his eyes. There was no sign of Izuku anywhere as the class take their seats. The bell rang for class to start but silence still filled the room.

"Uh where's Midoryia at? ribbit" Asui asked, looking around. Aizawa shot Bakugo a look before answering.

"It appears that Midoryia isn't talking to anyone at the moment. He barely even spoke to me. So until he comes out of his shell again, I'm taking him back into my custody."

"What? So we can't even see him at all?" Uraraka stood up from her desk.

"Not until he decides he feels ready to talk to people again. He re-injured his ribs as well, so Recovery Girl is taking care of him right now as we speak."

Bakugo could feel all eyes land on him, but he refused to look up to make eye contact with anyone.

Shit. I have to fix this.
