It had been a whole month since Johnny and I moved in and everything was great. I woke up every morning to the love of my life, getting to come home from work, kissing my boy and the climbing into bed next to bed with him.

It was honestly a dream come true.

Which made me feel a little bit better while I was walking home after finishing a long, hard, stressful day, knowing I was heading home into the arms of the man I loved before we headed to his parents house for dinner.

"Honey I'm home!" I called out only to stop dead in my tracks when Martin walked out of my living room, shirtless.

"Oh, hello Bambina." Martin smiled, looking up from what ever was in his hand.

"Hello Martin, erm...what are you doing here?" I asked confused as I took my shoes off and hung my jacket up.

"I don't know, Jackie dragged me round." He shrugged turning around. I walked further into the house to find Johnny and Jackie in the kitchen, cooking.

"Erm...hello?"

"Oh, hello love." Jackie smiled as she stopped what she was doing and walk over to give me a hug.

"Hey babe, how was work?" Johnny asked me as he walked over and kissed me quickly.

"Boring...erm, what is going on?" I asked confused, watching as Johnny and his mum got back to preparing food.

"Our oven broke so Johnny offered us your lovely home to cook it." Jackie told me as she walked over and pulled the meat out of the oven.

"We're just cooking, then we'll take it back home." Jackie smiled.

"You're cooking the food and the going back home?" I asked confused, Jackie nodded, not seeming to see the strangeness of the situation.

"Oh, well, why don't we just stay here for dinner?" I offered, looking at the two. Johnny shrugged at his mum and Jackie looked a little taken.

"Erm...well, I don't want to be a nuisance." Jackie explained as she began wrapping up the meat in tin foil.

"Jackie, don't be silly, it's absolutely fine, just let me change quickly and I'll set the dining room." I told Jackie, walking out of the kitchen.

I walked up stairs and into the bedroom only to be stopped at the door by Johnny who looked a little defeated.

"I'm sorry babe, mum was stress out about friday night dinner, she wanted to cancel and I opened my big mouth and now....she's been here and hour, I'm sorry." Johnny sighed, throwing himself on our bed.

"Babe, it's fine, she's your mother and you love her so, erm, I thinks it's OK that we do Friday night dinner here tonight." I smiled, sitting down next to him and lying my head on his legs.

"Yeah, I suppose you're right." He sighed, pushing his fingers through my hair in a calming manner.

"Long day?" He asked me, seeing my face filled with stress.

"Yeah, but it's not worth talking about." I hummed to him, knowing he wouldn't press it to much. We sat quietly for a minute until the bedroom door opened and Martin came in.

"Bambino, Bambina, your mum asked are you coming down soon, sinner's nearly ready." He asked looking at the two of us, a small smile on his face as he watched us content in our moment.

"We'll be down in a minute dad." Johnny nodded, not stopping his hand in my hair.

Martin nodded and left, closing the door and Johnny let out a sigh as he sat me up and stood up.

"I'll be down stairs, let you get changed." He smiled, kissing my forehead.

I watched him leave and quickly changed out of my pencil skirt and blazer ensemble and into a pair of skinny jeans and a nice top. I brushed my hair out of its tight bun and pulled it into a lose ponytail.

When I made it downstairs I heard the door bell ring and I jumped off of the bottom step and walked over and opened the door.

"20 minutes, I was stood outside of my mums house, for 20 minutes." Adam huffed as he pushed his way into the house.

"It's so nice to see you too pussface, come on in, please, we're happy to have you." I huffed, closing the door and followed Adam into the kitchen when he continued to rant to his mother about be left waiting.

"Oh, for bleeding shit sake Adam, I literally just offered our house for dinner so please just chill the fuck out, I am in no mood for your shit so either thank your mother for slaving away cooking your food or leave." I scolded to the older Goodman brother before walking over to the wine rack, pulled out a bottle of white and a glass before I walked into the back yard.

I let out a breath as I sat on the lawn chair and opened the bottle, pouring a glass and taking a deep breath, then took a drink.

"You wanna talk about it?" I voice asked, making me jump, I turned around to see Martin walking over as sitting on the other chair.

"I'm OK, I'm just been a bit stressed at work, I just wasn't expecting to come home to everybody being here." I sighed, offering him my glass which he declined.

"We can go, if you want us to?" Martin offered but I quickly shook my head.

"No, no, I'd never kick you out, you know that, I love you all too much." I joked, Martin let out a loud laugh and reached over, taking my hand.

"We love you too, Tori, but if things are getting too much, you can always come and hide out in my shed." He offered.

"Thanks, I'll keep that in mind." I laughed standing up.

"Now, let's go and get some of that love squirrel that Jackie made."

The two of us walked back inside and Johnny stood by the sink, waiting.

"Are you OK?" He asked and I smiled, nodding, leaning up and kissing him.

"I'm fine now, you dad and I had a little chat."

"God help you." He Joked as he grabbed my hand and lead us into the dining room where Jackie and Adam sat.

"Pussface, I'm really sorry I snapped at you, just really stressed." I apologised and Adam shrugged.

"Its fine, I deserved it." He smiled.

"Pussface, why don't you take a sip of you water?" Johnny offered. Adam looked at his water sceptically and then back at us. "Come on, it'll cheer Lady Pest up."

"Yeah, come on Adam, it'll really cheer me up." I pleaded playfully. Adam looked at if glass and then huffed picking it up.

"The things you do for family." He muttered, lifting the glass up to his lips and taking a small sip, gagging.

"Ah, ah, ah, the whole glass." Johnny ordered as Adam when to pull it away. Adam sighed reluctantly and brought the glass back to his lips, gulping the water down, gagging and heaving once it was all gone.

"Feel better?" Johnny asked me as we sat down.

"Much better thank you Adam." I chuckled, earning a grumble from Adam.

"Right, come on everyone, let's have a nice dinner before it is inevitable ruined by something or there." Jackie ordered and we al sat down and eat, have a nice, family dinner that for once, wasn't interrupt by anything weird or unexpected.
