I sat biting my finger nails as Johnny drove, music playing quietly around us from the radio.

It wasn't long until we reached our destination and Johnny pulled into a parking lot.

"You OK baby?" I asked, looking over at Johnny as he cut the engine.

"Yeah, I'm just, not sure how I feel about you and my dad spending so much time together." Johnny joked as I climbed out of the car.

I had just finished a lovely lunch date with Martin, since Jackie was out with Val and he was bored.

It had been a rather enjoyable lunch, We had met up at a small restaurant in town and had the must amazing good, while Martin cracked jokes and told me about what ever strange thing he had on his brain.

I was actually looking forward to seeing Martin and our baby interact, it'll be a sight to see.

Johnny had picked my up from the restaurant, which lead us to now, outside of the doctors office, ready for our baby scan.

"Oh, not to worry pissface, we were just having lunch, I was board and your dad was on his own, so we decided to go out." I laugh as I walked over and kissed him softly. "Now come one, we have to go see out little bean."

"After you baby." He grinned, taking my hand in his and walked beside me into the hospital reception where we signed in and sat in the waiting room.

A few other pregnant women sat around, some with their Partners, some on their own.

"So Adam wanted to know if we could do a gender Reveal for his birthday." Johnny suddenly spoke, looking at me wearily.

To say I was shocked, would actually be a bit of a lie.

In fact is was completely a lie. Ever since we announced the pregnancy Adam had been there when ever we needed him.

When Johnny needed help decorating the baby's room...a Peter Pan inspired room that I had envisioned, he helped when I was alone and Johnny was working, he'd come and sit with me until Johnny got home and then often stayed for dinner.

Adam had been the most amazing big brother and we couldn't have done along of this stuff with out him.

"You know, I think it would be a great idea...but I wanna run something by you."

"Ok, sure..?" Johnny began sceptically.

"Well, I'm not quite sure about the Jewish religion, but my family's religion...Church Of England, we kinda have Godparents and I was sorta hoping we could do that, because we both agreed to raise the baby on a mixture of both religions until he or she was old enough to decide and..."

"Who did you have in mind?" Johnny asked, cutting off my rambling.

"Well, for starters I wanted Adam to be our little ones godfather. He's been amazing through out this whole pregnancy business, help us both out. I think he'd be an amazing influence."

"I think so too." Johnny grinned leaning over and kissing my cheek.

"And...as for godmother, I was thinking Val." I spoke somewhat shyly.

"Auntie Val?" He asked shocked.

"Hmm." I nodded, looking up at him, only he didn't look shocked, discussed or even angry, he just look...confused.
"Val as been you're mums friend for forever. She had helped your mum with you and Adam but never got officially asked to be a Godparent, because as I understand it, you don't do that..."

"I don't think we do no." Johnny nodded.

"Well, I honestly can't think of anybody better to take care of our bean, if the worst should happen they would be placed in your mothers care anyway, but I think it would be a great way to say thank you for being there for you boys, and Jackie...hell, she's been there for me too, she helped me pick my wedding dress, helped me with you lot after Grandma passed away."

"Well, when you put it that way, I think you're right, she's pretty amazing. Annoying as hell, but pretty great." He laughed as he leaned in and kissed me softly.

"So you agree?"

"I do, I think Adam and Val would make great Godparents."

"Victoria Goodman?" A nurse called from a large door way.

Johnny and I stood up and walked off behind her, as she led us to where our ultra sound would be

"You got the envelope?" I asked Johnny as we climbed out of the car again.

"Here." Johnny smiled as he help up the white envelope, thet held the sex of our baby.

"Well, come one then, let's go order Pussfaces cake." I laughed as I took my husbands hand and pulled him into the bakery.

In side the little shop was so sweet, pardon the pun. It had sweet treats all over the place, every wall had photos of various cakes and such, that had been made to order.

"Hello loves, how can I help you?" A little old lady asked as she came out from the back.

"Hi, we're erm, looking for a gender reveal/Birthday cake?" Johnny grinned at the woman as he pulled me closer I to his arms.

"Ok, and is the cake for you?" She smiled kindly.

"It is, yes, we have the gender in this envelope." Johnny smiled as he handed the envelope over to the woman who smiled.

She happily congratulated us and began taking down our requests for the cake, which I had told her exactly what we wanted.

Plain white with 'Happy Birthday Uncle Pussface' written in yellow or orange icing, as they were typically gender neutral colours.

Once the cake was order and paid for, we left to go home, getting ready for tonight Friday night dinner at the Goodmans.
