"PLEASE tell me what it's like to go out with someone as handsome as Blaine. And spare no details."

Kurt watched Charlotte as she closed her locker door and walked side by side down the hall with him, grabbing and squeezing the boy's arm when Blaine's name fell out of his mouth. "We went out once, Kurt, and I already told you it went fine." She glanced around herself at the crowded hallway, packed with students headed to the cafeteria for lunch. "And you need to watch it with the 'B' word," she added. "I thought we agreed to keep it on the D-L."

Kurt sighed and shook his head, his eyes rolling up to the ceiling. "I know we did, but it's just too exciting! Besides," he added, "having to keep it a secret from everyone else makes me want to talk about it that much more."

Although Kurt was absolutely ecstatic for his best friend, he couldn't help but be reminded of Elliott every time he had to hear about Blaine or the Warblers. After Charlotte's brother hadn't even shown up with Blaine to help him stand up to Karofsky, Kurt was beginning to wonder if the boy even had a caring bone in his body.

Of course he does, he would think to himself when the thought dared to cross his mind. Elliott is Charlotte's twin, and Charlotte is the most caring person that I've ever met. The simple truth was that Kurt was getting lonely and feeling left out. Now that Blaine was beginning to return Charlotte's interest and he had reached the conclusion that he himself stood no chance with Elliott, it was becoming even more pronounced.

Charlotte's eyes tore to Kurt in alarm as the two entered the cafeteria. "I don't care what you have to do to hold it in, but no one is allowed to find out anytime soon, do you hear me?" She snatched up two red lunch trays before passing one to Kurt. "If Puck so much as hears that I hung out with a Warbler, he'll either blab to the rest of the club or hightail it up to Dalton to try and beat the shit out of the entire team. He doesn't need to get himself sent back to juvie."

"He is rather... whiny, isn't he?" Kurt twirled his hand in the air and squinted his eyes as he searched for the right word.

"You got that right." Charlotte placed a plate onto her tray as she stepped forward in the line. "But I'm the only one who can get away with calling him that. If I'm not around, I wouldn't recommend saying that to his face," she said, pointing at Kurt as he nodded briefly.

"Recommend saying what to who's face?" The two turned around and watched as Mercedes walked up and joined them in the lunch line.

"Oh, we were just talking about Puck and his incredibly fragile masculinity." Kurt said casually, adjusting the plaid cap sitting on his head. "The boy won't take being called whiny by anyone except for Char, even if it is a blatantly true statement."

Mercedes smiled, looking at Charlotte with a pleasant expression. "Good for you for being the one to say it." She scoffed, shaking her head. "I still can't believe that you're that close to Puck of all people."
