Hunters point of view:
It took us a little over two days to reach the tower. We set up a campsite along the shore with a small makeshift sleeping area. Damian wanted to stay on the shore for a day after he learned that I hadn't seen it since when the assassins were attacked and I swam to shore.

He got his way cause I couldn't say no to his unrivaled excitement at the idea of the ocean. I admit it was beautiful even though I was deathly afraid of water. The assassins try to break fear out of their soldiers but I could never get over my issues with water. I don't swim well cause of my high density bones. My lack of swimming skills causes my fear of water mostly but I just preferred land over water.

Damian on the other hand seemed relaxed by the shore and we walked in the water a little that night after we ate. Today though, we sat on the shore as we watched the sun rise. It was beautiful and I woke Damian up for it. It was the one thing I missed about the ocean, the sunrises.

His smile was soft as we sat on the shore. His green eyes glowed in the light as we watched it together. I took his hand gently as we had sat in the sand before I said "It is peaceful out here, not much could go wrong in a place like this." He nodded before he paused. I tilted my head as I tried to figure out what he meant by the look before he clarified his thoughts, "the idea of peace is only a illusion put on by those at war."

That only intensified my confusion before he said "The ocean is peaceful but the Atlantians beneath it are not as peaceful." I nodded now understanding. Tranquility was always a front to those who were at war it was no different with the Atlantians. Damian must know that as one of the justice ledge members was Aquaman and one of the members of his Titans is Aqualad. I was supposedly going to meet him today at the tower. Damian said his name was Kaldur'ahm.

I thought for second but decided against it as I looked at Damian. He looked relaxed, more so than usual and his hair normally so clean cut and uniform was now messy from the spray of the ocean waves. I smiled at his black locks began to fall in his eyes. My staring made him looked over as he felt my gaze before I ran a hand through his hair. His green eyes widened slightly in surprise but I just combed it from his face.

He smiled before I said "It looks good messy. Fits your relaxed mood." I lowered my hand from his hair to his cheek and he relaxed against it before he said "I'm only this calm around you." His eyes closed as he leaned into my hand before he opened his eyes and spoke calmly "I won't be as.... open in the Titans tower with are relationship." I looked down and pulled my hand away.

He was ashamed of having a villains daughter as a girlfriend. I don't blame him, it's not exactly like I'm a person you can brag about anyway. Damian's face was cold now, more his aggressive neutral but he looked like he was going to say something. I didn't let him waste his breath as I stood and said "Come on, we should get to the tower before noon."

I stood and brushed off my normal clothes of the sand knowing I'll have to wash them to get it out fully. I went to our small makeshift area to change into my batgirl suit. A hand grabbed mine to stop me from grabbing my suit before Damian said "You are upset." I sighed cause he couldn't see why but just nodded. He let go of my hand before he said "My brothers are family, they are work. It is different." I looked over at him in confusion.

He didn't seem like he had much more to say before he grabbed his own suit from his bag. I watched him walk away slightly before I shook my head. He was confounding and difficult at times but his attempts to fix things were sweet. I finished changing and quickly stowed away my belongings in the duffel bag. I turned to see Damian only half changed. He was by his motorcycle getting ready to pull his vest on but I got to see his bare back. The muscles rippled with movement but I saw wide scars stretching across the center of his back.
